Precise, not fanciful. Self-assured, not restrained. Low, wide and sleek. The exterior design of the 718 models is distinguished by sporty edges and clearly defined formal contours. The unmistakable silhouette with the flyline typical of a mid-mounted engine. A broad rear with black accent trim. The cockpit is fully sports-orientated.
Engine The S models have a 2.5-litre displacement. The result is 257kW (350PS) at 6,500pm. Maximum torque: 420Nm. This unit - like the one in the 911 Turbo - also comes equipped with Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG). It ensures a smoother unleashing of power and therefore increased driving pleasure.
Its thrust? Goes up to 285km/h. With PDK and Launch Control, the S models sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Interior Intuitive handling, performance-oriented ergonomics, a clean design. The interior of the 718 models is also fully geared towards sporty performance.
A strong emphasis on the horizontal gives the dashboard design of the 718 models a striking appearance. Without sacrificing the excellent ergonomics for which Porsche is renowned: the ascending centre console shortens the reach between the steering wheel and gear lever/selector, while the clear arrangement of function buttons saves time. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) All 718 models are equipped with enhanced Porsche Stability Management
(PSM) - an automatic control system for maintaining stability at the limits of dynamic driving performance. PSM improves traction under acceleration on inconsistent road surfaces. The result is a high level of driving stability and safety - and extraordinary agility at the same time
