Terms and Conditions: The Promoter is Porsche Centre Gold Coast of 1 Harvest Court, Southport QLD 4215. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy both of which are on display and can be viewed at https://dealer.porsche.com/au/goldcoast/en-AU Entry is open to all attendees of the Porsche Afternoon Tea and must be residents of Australia aged 18 and over with a current Australian drivers licence. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are ineligible to enter. The competition commences on Thursday 24 October at 2:30pm Australian Eastern Standard time and concludes at 5:00pm Thursday 7 November 2024. To enter, participants must: Attend the Porsche Afternoon Tea at The Langham, Gold Coast. Submit the entry by 5:00pm on Thursday 7, November 2024 only. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. Further, entries with an invalid name, phone number or email address details will be deemed invalid. The prize will be awarded to the competition entrant detailed on the official entry form. Further, the prize is not transferable without the Promoter’s express written permission. Only one entry per person is permitted. The Promoter reserves the right to request winner to provide proof of receipt of attendance, proof of identity and proof of residency in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including delays in the delivery of entries from the dealership to the Promoter. Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be deemed invalid. There will be one winner that may redeem the prize. There is one prize as detailed below: PrizeA Porsche prize for the winner selected by Porsche Centre Gold Coast to the value of AUG $2,500 + an additional prize for Porsche Centre Gold Coast customers valued at AUD $500 for a Chuan Spa voucher. The prize is subject to availability of the Product from Porsche Track Experience. It is recommended that the winner arranges their prize as early as possible to secure preferred dates. Once the prize has been arranged, any changes are at the expense of the winner. All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they cannot be split across different time periods. The Promoter accepts no responsibility should the prize winner not be able to accept the prize. If the prize or any part of it is unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any law or regulation. Once any prize has left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility if they may be damaged, delayed and/or lost in transit. All elements of the prize must be taken in full. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. The estimated prize values are based upon the recommended Australian retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date. Each valid entry received will be entered into the competition. One entry will be selected to become the winner. The winning entry will be selected by chance from correct answers, on 14 November, 2024 Porsche Centre Gold Coast 1 Harvest Court, Southport QLD 4215, Australia. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize. Any costs that arise as a result of accepting the prize are not included. Selection of the winner is final. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into. The competition is a game of skill and subsequent chance and the winning entry will be that which is correct and selected at random. The winner will be notified by phone or in writing within two business days selection of their prize in writing. The prize will be awarded to the person named on a valid official entry form. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed via email to marketing@pcgc.com.au The winner must claim their prize in writing by end November 2024 at 5:00PM (AEST). If the winner does not claim the prize by this date, then that winner forfeits all entitlements to the prize and all components thereof. Subject to any direction given under relevant legislation, conducted second winner will be chosen at the Promoter’s office on 15 October 2018 at 9:00AM AEDT as is necessary to re-award an unclaimed prize. The replacement winner will be notified by phone or in writing within two business days of selection. The replacement winner must claim their prize in writing by 2 December 2024 at 5:00PM (AEST). If the replacement winner does not claim the prize by this date, then that winner forfeits all entitlements to the prize and all components thereof. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under any law or regulation. The Promoter (including its officers, employees, contractors and/or representatives) shall not be liable (including for any negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in any way in connection with accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. Apart from the content of the Deed of Release that must be signed by the winner, nothing in these Terms and Conditions alters an individual’s statutory guarantees as set out in the Australian Consumer Law or similar State and Territory laws. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur: during the competition; whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the competition; in the participation in any prize; as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or due to circumstances outside the prize providers reasonable control. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under any law or regulation. All entries become the property of the Promoter and its associated companies and will be entered into both The Langham Gold Coast and Porsche Centre Gold Coast databases. The Promoter and The Langham Gold Coast may use the entrant’s name, residential and email address and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they consent to their details being used for this purpose and being contacted by both the Promoter and The Langham Gold Coast. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact the Promoter. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details should be directed via email to marketing@pcgc.com.au. Entrants’ personal information will be dealt with in accordance with state law and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at www.porsche.com.au For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and state.
