Porsche Brunei partnered with SCOT Brunei to host the Porsche Community Ramadhan Kitchen to mark International Women’s Day during Ramadan. This CSR initiative united female Porsche owners and single mothers to prepare meals for those in need, blending compassion with empowerment. The event reflects Porsche Brunei’s commitment to enriching lives and uplifting the community, aligning with the spirit of giving.
Bandar Seri Begawan. In tribute to International Women’s Day, Porsche Brunei, under QAF Prestige, hosted the Porsche Community Ramadhan Kitchen on March 8, 2025, at The Kitchen Table in Kiulap. This heartfelt initiative united women from the Porsche community in a powerful display of solidarity and compassion during the sacred month of Ramadan.
As a cornerstone of Porsche Brunei’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, the social kitchen program strengthened community ties while supporting those in need across Brunei. Partnering with SCOT Brunei, a non-profit dedicated to sustainable poverty alleviation, Porsche Brunei transformed a simple kitchen into a hub of impact, preparing 250 home-cooked meals for distribution to temporary shelters on the same day.
Female Porsche owners and single mothers from SCOT Brunei stood at the heart of the event, rolling up their sleeves to craft hearty dishes brimming with care. For the single mothers, this was more than a chance to contribute—it was an opportunity to showcase their skills and forge connections, embodying empowerment in action. Each meal packaged became a symbol of strength and unity, reflecting the spirit of International Women’s Day.
At the heart of the event were the women driving its success. Female Porsche owners joined forces with single mothers from SCOT Brunei’s team, rolling up their sleeves to prepare, cook, and pack meals that brimmed with care.
Over the course of the day, these women prepared a menu of hearty dishes, each package a symbol of strength and unity. For the single mothers involved, the program offered more than a chance to contribute—it provided a meaningful opportunity to showcase their skills and connect with others, fostering a sense of empowerment.
The event unfolded in three stages. It began with hours of preparation, where participants get to prepare the ingredients used for cooking together. This flowed into two hours of cooking, as everyone cooked 250 meals under the hum of shared laughter and purpose. Finally, the group packaged the food and dispatched it to designated locations in the Brunei-Muara District, such as temporary shelter homes and mosques.
For Porsche Brunei, this initiative is more than just a mere social assignment—it’s a reflection of their ethos that luxury is about enriching lives. The program reflects their commitment to driving positive change, particularly during Ramadan, by merging community support with empowerment. By focusing on women, the event honoured resilience while delivering sustenance to those who need it most, reinforcing Porsche Brunei’s role as a force for good.
The Porsche Community Ramadhan Kitchen stood as an inspiration of what is possible when community spirit meets corporate responsibility. For Porsche Brunei, it is a step toward a legacy of impact—where every meal prepared and every hand extended builds a stronger, more compassionate people.
