The Order of Ontario is the province’s highest honour. It is reserved for Ontarians from all fields of endeavour and backgrounds, whose excellence has left a lasting legacy in the province, Canada and beyond. Members of the Order are a collective of Ontario’s finest citizens, whose contributions have shaped – and continue to shape – the province’s history and place in Canada.
On Monday April 25th, 2022, Ching-Kircher attended the Order of Ontario Awards Ceremony and was officially appointed to the Order of Ontario. The honour was bestowed upon her at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Ching-Kircher has won many amazing awards throughout her career including the Great Canadian Women Award by HSBC and B’nai Brith Canada in 2011, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, the National Humanitarian Leadership Award in 2014 presented by Jon Voight, the Canada 150 Medal in 2018 celebrating outstanding community leaders, the Tzivos Hashem Sparks of Life Award in 2018.
