Meet the team behind the Classic Restoration Competition. In this installment, we introduce Theo Hillman, the original mechanic who worked on this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera when our client's father owned it.
Follow along as Theo recounts the early days of Porsche in Edmonton and his own experience working on this unique car. Theo also reminisces on his experience with the current owner of the Carrera in a story that will seem very relatable to anyone who grew up with parents who had such tempting cars to take out for a spin.
The same care that went into maintaining the Carrera is going into its restoration. Our team is dedicated to returning this treasured vehicle to how it deserves to be. Many hands go into a project like this, but we want to highlight some people making this project come to life.
Richard Quinn, Shop Foreman, leads the mechanical restoration towards this project.
Dave Idzan, Parts Manager, holds the project's busiest and most crucial role in organizing and acquiring OEM parts.
Bryon Ruttle, Service Manager. With a completion timeline set, Bryon is focused on ensuring each component of the car is where it needs to be.
Brad Muller, General Manager. Overseeing the entire project and determined to showcase what our new Porsche Centre is capable of, Brad keeps a keen eye on each task.
Tom Daneluik, Content Creator. Tasked with bringing this story to your eyes, he is keen to keep himself up to date with his camera always in hand.
