Porsche’s first ever all-electric vehicle has officially entered the final stages of testing for performance in some of the worlds most extreme climates. In thirty countries all over the world, the Taycan is being put through the ringer to ensure maximum performance and reliability , and Finland. In Dubai, battery charging and hot climate endurance runs in up to 50 degrees Celsius. In Scandinavia, snow driving dynamics are being tested just minutes from the arctic circle. Other tests are being performed in China, Unite Arab Emirates, and Finland.
Formerly known as “Mission E,” the Taycan boasts impressive numbers, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds, and has a range of 500km on a full charge. Just four short minutes of charging allows for 100 kms of driving.
The Taycan will hit the market in at the end of the year, but already 20 000 people have signed up as serious prospective buyers, just a small indication of the massive success expected of the all-electric superstar.
