Every week it seems that Porsche reveals a new and exciting sports car. This week, Porsche has announced a new 2018 911 Carrera T model. Reviving the 911 Carrera T from 1968, the car will come in a manual or PDK option priced at $116,500 and $120,750 respectively. The 7 speed 3.0 Liter flat 6 twin turbo will deliver 370 horse power with 332 foot pounds of torque.
Designed with weight in mind along with most sound detonating removed, the 911 Carrera T comes equipped with lightweight gorilla glass taken from the new GT2 RS in the rear window as well as rear side windows giving the driver a raw sound experience. The Porsche Communication Management system and rear seats have been excluded from the design, however are still available to be added in at no extra cost.
Exclusive features have been added to the 911 Carrera T. A shortened shift lever with shift pattern in red, sport exhaust system, Sport Chrono Package and Sport-Tex seat centre have been added into the car. Rear-axle steering is also available for the 911 Carrera T, a feature which is not seen in the 911 Carrera.
The 911 Carrera T will come in many different colour options such as Black, Lava Orange, Guards Red, Racing Yellow, White and Miami Blue. Metallic colours of Carrara White, Jet Black and GT Silver are also available.
