Tim in a Taycan
To prove that the Porsche Taycan can handle even the roughest Canadian winters, we sent Tim Ricci, an Internationally Certified Canadian Mountain Guide, on a 7-week adventure across the Canadian Rockies through the harshest conditions, at huge elevation, with hundreds of KM between charges. He even left the Taycan outside, uncovered, in -20 weather ... the entire time.

Did the Taycan hold up? See for yourself with Tim in a Taycan.

Week Two: Tim in a TaycanIn week 1, I was surprised at how easy it was to keep the vehicle charged while driving more than 1300 KM through the Interior. Week Four: Tim in a Taycan“As someone who lives in the mountains,” began Tim Ricci, a certified Mountain Guide from Canmore, AB, “someone who relies on his vehicle for work, I have always been pulled in the direction of a SUV or pick-up truck. After a month with the Taycan, that’s completely changed.”Learn More
Week Five: Tim in a TaycanSo far, through four weeks with the new Porsche Taycan, mountain guide Tim Ricci has put it through its paces. It’s survived mountain temperatures, travelled thousands of kilometres, handled itself like a dream through stormy Alberta winter driving, and has been parked outside the entire time. After last week, Tim went on the record saying that the new Taycan “completely changed” his perception of what a daily winter vehicle can be.Learn More
