The Next Chapter in Electrification
The all-electric Macan is planned to hit the market in 2024. As confirmed by Porsche Newsroom the new model is currently in the late stages of development and testing. Development for this all-new model has focussed on efficiency, performance, and longevity. Advancements in 3D modeling for simulating aerodynamics and thermodynamics have played a major role in the development of the EV Macan.

Manthey Racing Explained - The Newest Tequipment Option
Back in May of this year, it was announced that you would be able to spec your Porsche with Manthey Racing packages as a Tequipment option. Meaning these previously aftermarket kits would be considered factory parts, and a Manthey Racing Porsche would be considered a production vehicle.
Your One-Charge Trip Guide
For this reason, we put together a list of trips you can make in a fully charged Taycan, round trip.
The 991 911 - Take Your Pick
It has been 2 years since customers first started taking delivery of their 992 generation 911s. With some time between now and the conclusion of the 991 generation, we have gained some perspective from which we can reflect on. The 991 generation that preceded the 992 was produced from 2011 until 2019. You may need to sit down for this, but 2011 was over 10 years ago.
LEGO x Porsche - An Engaging Partnership
If you have had the opportunity of visiting our dealership, you will have noticed that there is a small store within our very big store. Occupying the space between the showroom and the delivery area sits our selection of Porsche Driver’s Selection items. From keychains to luggage, and everything in between, the PDS catalogue contains a variety of items that would rival some serious retail brands.
The Porsche Mission R - Racing Electrified
The last time Porsche unveiled an electric concept vehicle with the first name Mission, we saw the unveiling of the Mission E concept. This concept introduced us to the Taycan for the first time and forever changed the way we look at electric vehicles. Naturally, our ears perked up at Porsche Centre Langley when we heard news of the unveiling of the Mission R.
Cars and Coffee August 2021
As far as events go, Cars & Coffee might be as simple as they come. As you could guess, the only things you need are Cars and a generous amount of Coffee. The cars are a unifying interest amongst a diverse group of people. Coffee is a social tool, a conversation catalyst, the fuel that brings a unique group together to connect over their interests. Add these two things together, and you have one of our favorite Sundays of the year.
The Taycan Cross Turismo - Raising the Car for EVs
When the Taycan debuted as the Mission E concept in 2015, it was followed up by the lifted-up Mission E Sport Turismo concept 3 years later. In 2019, Porsche brought the Mission E to life with their first all-electric vehicle, the Taycan. Now, just over a year later, the Taycan Sport Turismo is set to land here at Porsche Centre Langley late this Summer. Building off the success of the Taycan, the Sport Turismo adds a versatility to Porsche’s EV lineup that can be best described by its name.
The New GT3 - Redefining GT Cars
When the first GT car debuted as the 993 GT2 in 1993, it was a homologated race car, and the fastest 911 money could get you. What followed was generation after generation of GT cars. From the naturally aspirated 996 GT3 to the world stopping 997 GT2RS; GT cars have represented the apex of the 911 model lineup. These former GT cars have been the quickest, most exhilarating, and most out there 911’s available during their respective times. This is the goal of a GT car: to deliver an experience beyond what a normal 911 can.
4th Annual Porsche Centre Langley Track Experience
Friday June 25th marked the beginning of our 2-day, 4th annual Porsche Centre Langley Track Experience. A weekend in the South Okanagan full of group driving, gourmet dining, and track instruction, it is the perfect experience for a Porsche enthusiast looking to explore the capabilities of their vehicle. With record breaking heat, and our largest group ever, the weekend also served as a test of the vehicles we proudly sell; more on that later.
Goldilocks Favorite 911: The 997
In the fairytale, Goldilocks walks into the home of three bears and lays down in their beds. The first one is too firm, the second too soft, and the final one just right. Now if the bears were Porsche drivers owning the first three watercooled generations of 911 (bear with me), she would walk into their garage and drive each of their cars. The 991 would be too modern, the 996 would be too strange, and the 997 would be just right.
Area 27
How does a weekend away in the South Okanagan behind the wheel of your Porsche sound? How about gourmet dining with a beautiful resort stay and laps around a track designed by Canadian F1 legend Jacques Villeneuve? If those sound as good to you as a flat six, then you’ll definitely want to sign up for the fourth annual Porsche Centre Langley Area 27 Track Event. Taking place June 25th to 26th.

A Look Into The 2019 911 GTS
Who can think back and remember if there was ever a colour you associated a 911 with. Most of you are probably muttering R E D under your breath right now. Hot rod guys think re sale red, Japanese car fans think Renaissance Red, and pony car fans will usually talk about Ruby Red. If you’re on the up and up with our current line up of Porsche factory shades then you probably are familiar with of course, Carmine Red.

Adding some colour to Fall
Some folks are starting to get their Porsches ready for a long winter nap now that summer seems to have ended quite abruptly. Fall has all sorts of moods in BC it seems, one day it’s almost 20 degrees and sunny, the next it looks like an ocean dropped out of the sky. However, when mother nature cooperates (somewhat) and driving isn’t a slippery and wet misadventure it’s nice to take the top down and enjoy some of the area’s gorgeous country roads!

Auto Lease vs. Finance
To lease or to finance your vehicle, that is the question. You’re not alone if you are a bit unsure. This isn’t a cut-and-dry decision because it depends not only on financial comparisons, but also on individual priorities and preferences. Let’s start with our side-by-side checklist to help guide your decision.
Back roads #1, Fort Langley
We all have the ideas of the perfect drive or a picturesque setting where it’s just you and your car, maybe a spouse or family member and you enjoy the road in complete solitude.
Canada's first Road Course
If you stand in downtown Coquitlam BC you can look to the north and see the lush green mountains that border the lower mainland most notably Eagle Mountain. Nestled just down the hill to the east is an area known as Westwood Plateau. Well known mostly as a gorgeous mid 90’s-built suburbia, this area is a past home to one of Canada’s most hallowed automotive stomping grounds: Westwood Raceway.

For drivers only
Somewhere between windows 95 and iPhone 8 pop culture developed a very specific taste for all things classic and retro. Well, realistically everyone has their own version of "the good ol' days" but it would seem that people are looking to classic formulas for creative outlets and enjoyment these days.

Porsche Centre Langley Challenges the Classic Restoration Competition
About a year ago a 1980 911 SC came to us in need of some TLC in the way of a new fuel tank and fuel system. It was flaunting a faded black paint job, well-used tires and had its fair share of small issues. After we had some work completed on the car for the owner, an exciting opportunity presented itself.

Porsche MARTINI RACING: the legend lives on!
A familiar logo that has remained popular with motorsports fans is the symbol of the Porsche Martini racing teams with its legendary blue stripes. It is inextricably linked with the successes of the Porsche teams in rallying, touring car racing and, above all, in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After the sponsorship from the Italian beverage company Martini & Rossi began in 1968, Porsche enjoyed a series of victories. The atmosphere of this era is reflected in the products of the Martini Racing collection from Porsche Driver's Selection. Their simple design and high quality are impressive and give them the potential to become genuine favorites.

Porsche Rally 2019
Every rally needs a starting line, in the case of Porsche Rally what better place to wave the flag than the lower mainland’s sole premier Porsche dealer 3 years in a row. On June 22 our lot served as the grid for over 100 cars to congregate and commence the 2019 Porsche Rally
The 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder
Open-air motoring has to be one of the greatest experiences one can enjoy. Modern cars come with features like neck heaters in the seats and wind deflectors to keep your hair (mostly) tame after a drive down your favorite canyon road. The Porsche Boxster Spyder comes with so many great options to cater to any kind of driver.

The 2018 Porsche 911 Targa
It’s Saturday morning, the wind is kicking up but it’s not crazy, the sun is out but it’s not insanely hot outside. You know you have a few hours to get out before the backroads become packed with weekenders and ruin a spirited drive. With the toggle of a switch and 19 seconds of transformer-like articulation the Targa roof of your jet black 911 recedes into the rear of the car.
Harmony: The 2019 Macan Launch event
Everyone at some point in their lives have thought about what it would be like if their life was in a movie or a song, if you have never thought about that maybe you need to daydream more. If you think of some aspect of your life as a song where do all the parts fit into the songs structure. Maybe your job is the baseline, friends and family are the rhythm and your hobbies are the melody. Something has to uplift and add that little bit extra to the song, something needs to compliment every part of your life and be the harmony of it all. For a driver it can be the 2019 Macan, the SUV that perfectly blends everything we all love about fun cars and everything we need from SUV’s.

On the 14th of June we were joined by our friends and clients to enjoy sunny skies, beautiful scenery and of course a good round of golf for this years tournament.

The 992
The 8th generation of the 911 is no well-kept secret anymore. The car was released to public eyes just about a year ago with the response being fantastic across the board. In a lineup of cars that have been a gradual and precise evolution this next generation of the 911 is a huge leap forward in design and engineering.
The 996
The 996 was developed in the late 90’s to replaced the outgoing 993 chassis with the new millennium in mind.
The evolved Macan
The Macan has never been a slouch when it comes to driving feel or comfort, It has this incredible balance that most modern SUVs lack. You have probably heard it a million times on reviews and other sites but it is the SUV that drives like a car. Let’s dive a little deeper past that Night Blue exterior and explore why it feels like a road hugging sports car and not a bulky grocery getting SUV.
The Finer Points of a GT2 RS
Our inner child often comes out when a supercar passes by. We want to see it go fast, hear it rev up or see it lay waste to a track. When the silhouette of a Porsche GT car rolls past, you can easily get caught up in the overall presence of the car and forget that there are hundreds of small details that truly set them apart from other cars.

The GT3 Touring
Porsche is no stranger to fulfilling an order for driving pleasure. 911’s through the ages have been aimed right at the heart of racers and backroad drivers in every possible corner of the market.
The Porsche GT3 Cup Canada at Road America
Back in August the GT3 Cup Canada made its way south of the border to America’s dairy land to lay down some laps at the world-famous Road America. The race weekend was combined with the GT3 cup USA and the IMSA Road Race Showcase weekend celebrating 50 years of IMSA (International Motor Sports Association). The field was now double the size at 40 cars and our number 96 piloted by Michael Di Meo was smack dab in the middle.

Victoria, Tofino, Parksville. If there are spotlight stealers on Vancouver Island, it’s this trio that garners all the attention. For road warriors who love to venture off the beaten track, this bodes well for the Comox Valley.

2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona
The Rolex 24 at Daytona is one of the most grueling endurance races in the world of sports car and prototype racing. In the realm of long driver stints, sleep deprivation and battling in the dark Porsche is the winningest factory flag to be raised above the world circuits but the new chassis of the RSR left a little bit of uncertainty as to how things would go over the course of 24 hours.
