Porsche Classic Restoration Competition – Our Cayenne Turbo Journey

The Porsche Classic Restoration Competition (CRC) celebrates the craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication that goes into preserving Porsche’s iconic heritage. This year, Porsche Centre London is proud to showcase our entry: a 2005 Cayenne Turbo (E1 Generation) featuring the rare TechArt MAGNUM Aerodynamic and Exhaust Kit.

From its bold stance to its legendary turbocharged performance, this Cayenne has always been a statement. Now, it’s undergoing a complete transformation—one that blends Porsche heritage with modern touches designed to make it competition-ready and road-ready.

The Restoration Plan

Our journey began with a complete assessment and meticulous planning, with each stage entrusted to our valued partners:

• C-Craft – Full underbody restoration and cleanup
• Alloy Wheel Repair – Powder coating of wheels, hood vents, and engine cover
• Burwell Auto Body – Widebody kit restoration and refinishing
• Auto Trim – Complete exterior wrap
• Porsche Centre London Service – Classic PCM+ integration, tailgate repair, and full service updates
• Rack Attack London – Roof system with bars and box/tent

Our restored Cayenne Turbo will take center stage at our Fun Run event on October 5th, leading as the official pace car. Guests will get the first up-close look at the final product, along with exclusive photo opportunities.
