GLOBAL AUTO ENTHUSIAST BRAND JOINS PFAFF AUTOMOTIVE PARTNERS IN MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP
Pfaff Motorsports today announced a new strategic partnership with auto enthusiast brand Hagerty. The team will debut the Hagerty logo on its renowned plaid-liveried Porsche GT3 R as part of the IMSA 6 Hours at Watkins Glen, signaling a multi-year partnership between the two likeminded brands.
“We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Hagerty,” said Pfaff Motorsports team manager Steve Bortolotti. “It’s a great B2B partnership for each brand, and means we’ll be able to connect clients with optimal insurance offerings as well as put on top-level experiences on and off the track. For our motorsports program, Hagerty’s support will be a key factor in our success and growth. It’s a natural relationship where we’re customers and fans already – so it’s nice to formalize a synergy and work with a group we’ve always had a great affinity and respect for.”
Hagerty’s passion for classic and exotic vehicles, automotive experiences and specialty insurance offerings makes it the perfect partner for Pfaff Motorsports and the broader Pfaff automotive group. Brands represented under the Pfaff umbrella include Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, McLaren, Pagani, and more – and the group also sells a wide-range of exclusive classic, exotic, and performance cars through its Pfaff Reserve division.
“Our team is very excited to partner with Pfaff Motorsports,” said Amy Pearson-Blay, Vice President of Hagerty Canada. “Hagerty and Pfaff are so complimentary – we both concentrate on bringing driving experiences to our members and clients. Both brands have deep automotive knowledge that we share with the community through driving, racing and automotive content. This partnership is exemplary of two companies who love cars, and we can’t wait to celebrate the drive with our members and clients.”
The partnership will be highlighted by unique customer experiences and events. Hagerty’s Drivers Club magazine and video content will also be present throughout Pfaff dealerships, and Hagerty insurance and membership products will be presented as Pfaff’s recommended provider for exotic, specialty, and collector cars.
Entering round three of the North American Endurance Championship, the team welcomes back its Sebring 12 Hour-winning driver lineup. Regulars Zach Robichon (CAN) and Laurens Vanthoor (BEL) are re-joined by Porsche development driver Lars Kern (GER), coming off back-to back Nürburgring SUV and production car record-setting laps in the Porsche Cayenne and Porsche 911 GT2 RS, respectively.
The team enters the weekend in first place in the NAEC GTD standings and fourth in the overall GTD championship. Qualifying gets underway on Saturday June 26 at 11:50 am, with the 6 Hours at the Glen race going green on Sunday, June 27 from 10:40 am to 4:40 pm.
Viewers in the USA can watch qualifying and racing live on IMSA.tv, NBCSN and IMSA TrackPass. Canadian viewers can watch the race live on Discovery Velocity, and on tape delay on TSN at a later date. For additional event info and full broadcast details, visit www.IMSA.com.
