Job Purpose
The Porsche Service Technician is a technical specialist at the Porsche Centre and primarily performs diagnostic and repair work in the context of technically demanding and complex tasks.

Complying with Porsche Service standards -
Accurate diagnoses and fault repairs -
Diagnostics and repairs in the following areas: Engine mechanics, electrical systems, energy and starting systems, engine management systems (DME), transmission systems, chassis and brake systems etc. -
Complex adjustments to engines, motors, gearboxes, rear axles, steering and brake systems and chassis etc. -
Implement cost effective and appropriate solutions to all technical problems on behalf of customers. -
Understands the service/workshop process and customer expectations with regard to individual and excellent customer service in the dealership

Business and/or technical education at a university/college -
Minimum 3 years as a Licensed Technician working with luxury brands Knowledge of Porsche or other German vehicles an asset -
Strong knowledge of electrical and /or mechanical repairs of luxury vehicles -
Strong knowledge of the automotive trade and vehicles (German brands is beneficial) -
Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles an asset -
Good numeracy skills, and sound analyzing skills. -
Valid Ontario G license -
Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of trades
