On July 24, 2025 Porsche Centre North Toronto was pleased to welcome members of the Porsche Owner Club PTN for our first “GT” Cars and Coffee event at the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto. The gathering brought together dedicated “GT” owners and enthusiasts for an evening focused on driving, community, and hands-on engagement with the Porsche brand, even as changing weather added an extra sense of anticipation to the night.

 

PTN members enjoyed a series of exclusive experiences designed to showcase both real-world performance and driver skill. The highlight for many was a high-speed hot lap on the Porsche Experience Centre’s two-kilometre track, where guests experienced the new 2025 Porsche 911 GTS equipped with the latest T-Hybrid engine technology. Pushing beyond 200 km/h under professional guidance, participants gained a clear sense of how hybrid innovation enhances performance without diminishing the character of the 911.

 

Following the track sessions, members moved into the Simulator Lab, where competition took centre stage. Drivers went head-to-head in a simulator challenge behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, tackling the Red Bull Ring Grand Prix circuit in Austria. The friendly rivalry delivered impressive lap times, spirited discussion, and plenty of enthusiasm among participants.

 

Congratulations to Shawn, Michael, and Kevin for securing the top three simulator times and earning the day’s honours. Prizes included a 911 GT3 Track Experience for first place, an overnight stay at JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa for second place, and a 1:18 scale Porsche Experience Centre Toronto 911 GT3 RS model for third.
