2015 was a memorable year for the Porsche Centre Oakville community, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of it.
We began with an extraordinary Camp4 winter driving experience that took us to Mécaglisse Motorsport complex in Quebec. Participants were given the opportunity to master the art of driving a Porsche on an ice track—that’s one experience to cross off the bucket list. When not on the track, they enjoyed the luxuries of the Estéral Resort.
Only a week after we hosted a private breakfast at the Canadian International Auto Show in the company of our Brand Ambassador, Jonathan Bernier. The Porsche display was open early for select individuals who also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast while taking in the latest Porsche models, and posing for photos with the Leafs’ net minder. We’re proud to be offering this event again at this year’s Auto Show.
The year also marked some memorable track days, drive events, the always-anticipated Easter egg hunt, and the arrival of our first Porsche 918 Spyder.
Of course, the most notable event of 2015 for Porsche Centre Oakville was the launch of our Motorsport division. Partnering with the venerable Alegra Motorsports team, our Porsche Centre Oakville Motorsport team dove head-first into the GT3 Cup Challenge. In our inaugural run, our team competed in five events across Ontario and Quebec. Our lead driver, Daniel Morad, and rookie sensation Michael De Quesada, supported by Alegra Motorsport and Porsche Centre Oakville technicians, raised the bar in the fight for points and managed to win the Platinum series team championship. A notable feet for any team in their first year.
Indeed, 2015 was a big year for Porsche Centre Oakville, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated community.
In 2016, we will continue to redefine the purchase experience and set the bar for other business. If you haven't done so already, please join our community on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
Here’s to an even better 2016,
Danke!
