The Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge has returned for the Spring 2022 season, with TAG Heuer as the official timing sponsor.
For the past several weeks, 40 Canadian Esports racers have competed in five epic race events on world-renowned courses, broadcast through iRacing.com and Twitch.
Three weeks remain in the adrenaline-activating series as Canada’s fastest sim drivers compete in two classes, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992 Generation) and the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR. Qualifiers were held in February, challenging Canadian drivers to test their fastest time on the Daytona International Speedway, Tsukuba Circuit using the 911 GT3 Cup (992 Generation).
On June 23rd, one Canadian in each class will emerge as the winner. The first place prize package includes a pass to the Porsche Experience event, a TAG Heuer Connected Watch, a pair of premium Bose noise cancelling headphones, a Porsche Motorsport backpack, a Porsche thermos mug, and iRacing credit contribution.
Drivers that take the second and third place podium positions in each class will receive a prize package that includes a LEGO 99X Electric Formula E car kit, a 1:18 scale model Porsche, a pair of premium Bose noise cancelling headphones, a TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team t-shirt and hat, a Porsche Motorsport backpack, a Porsche thermos mug, and iRacing credit contribution.
The series finale takes place on Thursday, June 23rd at 8 pm, and will be broadcasted live on the Porsche Twitch channel.
