We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Langdon Hall, the one-of-a-kind country estate hotel in Cambridge, that will ensure guests of the property can charge their electric or e-hybrid Porsche and leave feeling relaxed and rested with a full charge, both literally and figuratively.
The new changing station at Langdon Hall is part of the global Porsche Destination Charging programme, an ongoing initiative that provides electric or e-hybrid Porsche drivers with complimentary, on-site charging at luxe locales. Currently, there are more than 75 countries participating with over 4,200 charging points worldwide, all at high-end hospitality establishments, from luxury hotels to five-star restaurants, wineries, and more.
On average, each Destination Charging site will house two Porsche Chargers, which are complementary for Porsche customers. Still, the service is not limited to Porsche models; any EV outfitted with a standard J1772 plug can get a charge at these stations.
Building charging stations at leisure locations like Langdon Hall is “an integral part of a sustainable mobility model,” according to Marc Ouayoun, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada, as is providing a “fast and convenient electric vehicle charging network.”
Porsche is on its way to doing just that. Langdon Hall joins the list of 250+ premium Porsche Destination Charging partner spots across North America.
“We want electric car drivers to have that convenience,” says Domenica Giordano, Sales Manager at Porsche Centre Oakville. “The idea is to really enhance the ownership experience.”
And enhance it will. Landgon Hall is an incredibly unique and prestigious property with Relais & Châteaux, the luxury hotel association, status. Porsche Destination Charging exclusively chooses locations with aligned brand values, and not just anyone is welcomed into the programme.
At a luxury getaway destination like Langdon Hall, guests arrive expecting to relax and the addition of a Destination Charging station for Porsche EV drivers will immediately enhance the experience from start to finish.
“Luxury is the highest level of relaxation where every detail and every experience is at the highest level and the highest quality,” says Jason Bangerter, award-winning Executive Chef at Langdon Hall.
From Porsche Centre Oakville and the folks at Langdon Hall, we can’t wait to welcome you during your next stay.
