It’s been over a decade since the Panamera was revealed to the world at the Shanghai International Auto Show. Now, to celebrate the milestone anniversary of the four-door Porsche, the brand is releasing a Panamera 10 Years Edition available on the Panamera, Panamera 4 and Panamera E-Hybrid, and loaded with upgrades and unique design features.
Starting at $122,000, the Panamera 4 10 Years Edition houses a mono-turbo 3.0-litre V6 engine good for 330 hp, while the edition’s E-Hybrid version ($132,700) comes with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 and electric motor to generate a combined 457 hp.
Both of the 10 Years Edition variants bear the anniversary “Porsche 10” badge inside and out, and also come standard with 21-inch Panamera Sport Design wheels finished in satin-gloss White Gold Metallic. Inside, that same metallic gold hue highlights the contrast stitching on the seats.
The success of the luxury touring sedan speaks for itself, but Porsche is looking to further distinguish the celebratory Edition from the regular 2020 Porsche Panamera by offering up a collection of standard features that normally come as options.
The Panamera 10 Years Edition will host safety features like ParkAssist with Surround View, LED matrix headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, Lane Change Assist and Lane Keep Assist, as well as comfort perks like 14-way adjustable heated seats, soft-close doors and a Bose Surround Sound system.
It will also utilize Porsche’s Active Suspension Management and Power Steering Plus.
For the brand, it’s a way to commemorate a decade of business in a segment many thought it didn’t really belong in. For Porsche fans, it’s a great way to get into a unique, well-equipped Panamera.
The Panamera 10 Years Edition will ship to showrooms in the first quarter of 2020. Contact us here with any questions or to book a showing.
