Some may call it a makeover, a redesign, or a facelift. Whichever is the case, one thing is for sure: the differences could appear small, but the overall impact is massive. As a matter of fact, all three versions are more robust, sharper, and sportier than their predecessors, with the GTS as the pinnacle of performance. It uses a 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine that delivers 324 kW (440 PS)—an increase of 44 kW (60 PS), sprinting 100km/h in 4.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 272 km/h.
Needless to say, the new exterior design is immaculate, showcasing an updated front end, a larger black rear diffuser, as well as 14 colours available to pick, while the centre console’s practical enhancements like the touch surface on the cockpit, larger storage compartments and a 10.9-inch touchscreen will surely dazzle curious new (or old) buyers.
When can I get my hands on it?
Good things come to those who wait. The new Macan will be available early in 2022, and the fully electric model will follow shortly after that. Until then, here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming soon.
