It is requested to respect the sanitary and distancing measures at all times.
DISTANCING AND WEARING OF A MASK
Wearing a mask for employees and customers is no longer mandatory except in the case of shuttle transport or during test drives with customers. Indeed, the wearing of a quality mask at all times remains compulsory in the means of transport. Thus, during test drives or in shuttle services, the mask is mandatory, whether for customers or for employees. However, the consumption of food and drink is permitted.
DISTANCING MEASURES (PHYSICAL DISTANCING, PHYSICAL BARRIERS, ETC.) REMAIN RECOMMENDED PRACTICES, BUT ARE NO LONGER MANDATORY.
DINING ROOM AND REST ROOM
Distancing measures (physical distancing, physical barriers, etc.) remain recommended practices, but are no longer mandatory. Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory.
VALIDATION OF THE STATE OF HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES
The CNESST maintains the obligation for employers to exclude symptomatic people. To fulfill this obligation, the CNESST has relaxed the measures and provides several means to be able to comply with this obligation:
- Workers are informed that in the event of symptoms of cough or fever, difficulty breathing, sudden loss of smell or taste without nasal congestion or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19, they must not report to work;
- Identification of workers with symptoms of COVID-19 before entering the workplace, for example by means of; The INSPQ questionnaire; Self-assessment by workers; A poster informing workers of the exclusion measures; Emails recalling the methods of isolation in the event of symptoms; The information thus collected is of a confidential nature.
INSULATION MEASURES PCR TESTS
PCR tests in screening clinics are now reserved for healthcare workers or certain higher priority clienteles. Consequently, employers should no longer require proof of a positive PCR test from their employees. That said, it is becoming essential to adequately manage symptoms and isolations in order to avoid outbreaks in companies.
DURATION OF ISOLATION
Fever Regardless of the reason for the fever, employees must self-isolate for up to 24 hours after the fever ends. Positive test If a properly vaccinated person tests positive for COVID-19, they must self-isolate for a period of 5 days. She will be able to resume her activities after this isolation if the symptoms and fever improve. However, for a period of 5 additional days, she must wear a mask during any social interaction and respect the distance of 2 meters as much as possible.
For an unvaccinated person, this isolation is also 5 days. However, to resume her activities, she must obtain a negative test. When she resumes her activities, she must wear a mask during any social interaction and respect the distance of 2 meters as much as possible. Absence of test A symptomatic person who does not have access to a rapid test or PCR could be considered as a positive person and follow the isolation instructions that apply.
In the case of unvaccinated people who have never had COVID-19, they must isolate themselves for a period of 5 days. For the next 5 days, the person can resume their activities, but they must monitor their symptoms, wear a mask during any social interaction and respect the distance of 2 meters as much as possible. *IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO EXTEND THE ISOLATION PERIOD IF ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE HOUSEHOLD BECOMES A CASE OF COVID-19*
To this end, as of this Saturday, anyone who has had high-risk contact with a positive case of COVID-19, i.e. people living under the same roof, sexual partners or couples who do not share not the same home, is no longer required to self-isolate for five days, and only if they have no symptoms of the disease.
Thus, they can report to work and go about their business. However, in order to preserve the health and safety of all people with whom they may have an interaction, it has been recommended that the activities be carried out while wearing the mask at all times for a period of 10 days.
Similarly, during this period, they should avoid going to places where masks can be removed, as they are considered to be more at risk of contagion, for example restaurants, dining rooms and cafeterias.
WEARING OF A FACE COVER FOR CUSTOMERS - measure enacted by the government
The obligation to wear a face covering for customers will end no later than mid-April in all public places in Quebec. However, it will remain mandatory on public transport until at least May.
In his announcement, Minister Dubé clarified that he wanted to keep “ten days’ notice” between the date when the announcement will be official and the date when the restriction will fall. Despite everything, the mask is still considered to be a very effective tool to counter the spread of the virus and that is why it will always be required in certain situations. For example, the mask will remain recommended when a person shows symptoms of COVID-19, and this, during the five days following isolation or during contact with an immunosuppressed person.
WEARING OF A MASK IN THE WORKPLACE - measure enacted by the CNESST
The CNESST has also announced a reduction in health measures for workplaces. For employees, the obligation to wear a surgical mask is necessary at a distance of less than two meters from another person without a physical barrier. This requirement will be modified as of March 7, 2022. Wearing a quality mask will be required if there is not a minimum physical distance of one meter or in the absence of a physical barrier.
More specifically, starting March 7, employees must wear a surgical mask when interacting with another person within 1 meter without a physical barrier. For example, if a mechanic works at his work bay more than 1 meter from another person, he can remove his mask. On the other hand, when he circulates in the mechanical workshop and is likely to meet another person less than 1 meter away, he must wear his mask.
We remind you, however, that when an employee circulates in areas where customers have access, such as the showroom or the waiting area of the service department, the obligation to wear a mask is always necessary until no later than mid-April. We will follow future government announcements on this issue and we will keep you informed.
Wearing a quality mask will remain necessary in public transport, especially when employees carpool, passengers in a vehicle used to accompany customers or during a test drive.
Finally, at the earliest in May and depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation, a last step will consist in lifting the exceptions to the obligation to wear a mask in all workplaces, including those during public transport. Again, as soon as this information is known, we will let you know.
EARLY RELIEF FROM MARCH 14 TO SATURDAY MARCH 12
The government has also announced that it will bring forward to Saturday March 12 a series of relief measures which were only due to come into force on Monday March 14. Indeed, all public places, assemblies and congresses will be able to switch to 100% capacity. There will no longer be a capacity limit in a rented room. The requirement for a vaccination passport will no longer be mandatory.
Wearing a face covering is mandatory for all customers entering your business. It is also mandatory during road tests and car rides. However, it is possible for them to remove their face covering when they are seated and more than 2 meters from another person or separated by a physical barrier.
Customers must be able to maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from other people as much as possible.
DISTANCING AND WEARING OF A MASK FOR EMPLOYEES
For employees, wearing a mask at all times is compulsory inside the company's premises, regardless of the position occupied, even if the distance of 2 meters is respected or even in the presence of a physical barrier such as a plexiglass. Outside, wearing a mask is required when interactions within 2 meters are unavoidable. The mask can be removed in certain special circumstances or during meals and breaks when the person eats and drinks but for a short time.
A distance of two meters between people must be respected as much as possible.
ROAD TEST
Road tests are permitted, but wearing a mask must be respected at all times. No vaccination passport requirement is required for the test drive.
VACCINE PASSPORT REQUIREMENT
There is no longer a vaccination passport requirement for traders whose building is larger than 1,500 square meters.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY LIMIT
Limit of the maximum capacity of the premises of 1 customer per 20m2 of commercial area applicable in businesses, circulation areas and food courts.
Due to the marked increase in the number of cases of infections with the Omicron variant, which leads to a considerable increase in the demand for screening clinic tests and significant delays, the Ministry of Health and Social Services announces changes concerning screening priorities and case and contact management. These also entered into force as of the announcement of January 4, 2022.
PCR TESTS
PCR tests in screening clinics will now be reserved for certain higher priority clienteles:
- Symptomatic people from the following groups: inpatients, emergency department patients, patient-contact healthcare workers, staff, residents, essential caregivers and visitors to hospitals and settings. collective accommodation, outpatients for whom treatment against COVID-19 is being considered and people who are homeless or in precarious residential conditions;
- People from First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities and people going to these communities to work there;
- People during an admission or transfer to or from a hospital or collective accommodation;
- High-risk contacts and asymptomatic or symptomatic individuals in the context of confirmed or suspected outbreaks in high-risk settings;
- Asymptomatic people in hospitals, in long-term care establishments and collective accommodation places and establishments, in accordance with provincial guidelines or directives.
- As a result, employers no longer need to require proof of a positive PCR test from their employees. That said, it becomes essential to adequately manage symptoms and isolations in order to avoid outbreaks in businesses.
ISOLATION DURATION
Certain isolation instructions are reduced in certain cases, and only if the person is doubly vaccinated.
Positive test
If a person tests positive for COVID-19 (by rapid test or PCR), they should self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms or from the date of collection if they have no symptoms. In addition, to stop the isolation, the person must not have had a fever for 48 hours (without taking fever medication) and must have improved symptoms for 24 hours (excluding cough and loss of blood). smell that may last longer).
The recommended duration of isolation for double vaccinated people is now increased from 10 to 5 days, if symptoms improve and after at least 24 hours without fever.
Negative test
If a person tests negative on the rapid test, they should self-isolate, watch for symptoms, and have a second rapid test 24 hours later. If the result of the second test is still negative and the symptoms improve, it is possible to resume activities.
Lack of test
A symptomatic person who does not have access to a rapid test or PCR should be considered a positive person and follow applicable isolation guidelines.
Person who has had contact with someone who has COVID-19
People who have had high-risk contact with a person positive for COVID-19, that is, people living in the same household, sexual partners, and people who have been in a tight space without letting them know. 'one of the two people wore a mask, must self-isolate for 10 days. For people doubly vaccinated, they must isolate themselves for five days. They can then come out of their isolation, but must wear the mask for another five days and respect a distance of two meters.
For moderate contact, either a person who has been in contact with a positive case within 2 meters for at least 15 minutes without wearing the mask, either by the positive person or by the person who has been in contact, it is not necessary to isolate yourself. However, this person should watch their symptoms for 10 days and wear a mask during any social interaction.
For low-risk contacts, i.e. during contact with a positive case within 2 meters for at least 15 minutes with the mask worn by 2 people, it is not necessary to isolate yourself, but the person should monitor their symptoms for 10 days from the last contact with the confirmed case.
In any event, despite the isolation guidelines established by the government, as an employer, you have the right to manage to prevent the health and safety of your workers. So you can decide to extend the period of absence from work.
CLOSING OF SCHOOLS AND EXCEPTIONAL CHILDCARE SERVICES
Due to the closure of elementary schools, exceptional childcare services are deployed for the weeks of January 3 and 10. Parents who cannot telecommute have access to exceptional child care services at their children's school. Providing care for the children of essential workers, especially those in the health and social services network, must be a priority. These services may also be offered by private educational institutions. Parents are nevertheless encouraged to keep their children at home when this option is possible.
The Occupational Health Team would like to inform you that there are major changes in the COVID-19 case and contact management guidelines. Since your contribution is very valuable in the fight against COVID-19, you will find useful information to facilitate and continue your management of this risk in your community.
Due to the changes linked to the rapidly evolving epidemiological situation, follow the updates on the website https://www.ciusss-capitalenationale.gouv.qc.ca/sante-publique/coronavirus.
For all cases of COVID-19 in your business, you should conduct an internal investigation to validate the presence of high or moderate risk contacts. In the following sections, you will find the information necessary to identify these contacts as well as the instructions for administrative segregation, screening or monitoring of symptoms that apply to them.
Here is the website where you will find more details on the rapid testing program in the workplace: https://www.quebec.ca/sante/problemes-de-sante/az/coronavirus-2019/emploi-tests-rapides- companies-covid-19

Quality mask
The Committee on Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) requests that masks used at work meet the following performance criteria:
Medical masks (procedural or surgical mask) AND
ASTM F2100, BNQ 1922-900 or to EN 14683 type IIR
You will find the mask certification information on their box or on the supplier's website.
A corporate face covering or "mask" is not the same as a quality mask. If the worker was wearing a face cover or a corporate "mask", it should be considered that he was not wearing a quality mask.
The importance of triage of workers as they enter work
As an employer, you must make sure that workers with symptoms of COVID-19 are not admitted to the workplace. Here is the link to the symptom questionnaire to be used to triage workers before they enter the workplace:
https://www.inspq.qc.ca/publications/3042-questionnaire-symptomes-covid19
If a worker has symptoms, they should:
Complete the COVID-19 Symptom Self-Assessment Tool: https://covid19.quebec.ca/surveys/cdd2/introduction?language=fr-ca
Get tested and stay in isolation while waiting for the result.
If the result of the screening test (screening center or rapid home test) is positive, the worker must self-isolate at home for a period of 10 days from the onset of symptoms.
To make an appointment at a screening center: https://www.ciusss-capitalenationale.gouv.qc.ca/sante-publique/coronavirus/depistage
Internal investigation - how to identify high and moderate risk contacts in your workplace
The following are considered to be HIGH-RISK CONTACT in the workplace:
- Person exposed to a case in a restricted space *, WITHOUT wearing a mask NOR by the case, NOR by contact.
* For information, in the workplace, a small space corresponds to a room or a place where the distance of 2 meters cannot be respected (eg: vehicle interior, cubicle). - An information document on physical barriers (eg: plexiglass) should be available shortly on the INSPQ website.
- The HIGH risk contact, for a period of 10 days after the last exposure to the case, must:
- Preventively isolate yourself at home, even if you are vaccinated or have already had COVID-19;
- Monitor the appearance of symptoms compatible with COVID-19;
- If he develops symptoms, he should be tested (at a testing center or a rapid home test).
To end their isolation, the HIGH risk contact must: Have completed their 10-day isolation period AND have not exhibited any symptoms during isolation.
The following are considered to be CONTACT AT MODERATE RISK in the workplace:
- Person who has been exposed to less than 2 meters for more than 15 cumulative minutes (over 24 hours), WITHOUT wearing a mask by the case OR contact.
The MODERATE risk contact, for a period of 10 days after the last exposure to the case, must:
- Monitor the appearance of symptoms compatible with COVID-19;
- Wear the quality mask at all times and avoid contact with vulnerable people (the elderly, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women);
- Self-isolate and get tested (at a testing center or rapid home test) if they develop symptoms.
- He does not have to isolate himself at home or get tested, unless he develops symptoms.
When can a positive COVID-19 case return to the workplace?
He must meet all of the following criteria to end his isolation:
- Have completed their minimum 10-day isolation period. The duration of isolation of a person who is immunosuppressed or who has had a severe illness (intensive care) is 21 days.
- Have not had any acute symptoms * for at least 24 hours.
- Have not had a fever for at least 48 hours.
* Note that in the presence of acute symptoms (severe cough, difficulty breathing), the positive case must continue in isolation for a period of 2 additional days and contact the COVID Info line for an assessment of his state of health.

It is better to prevent ...
In fact, employers are major players in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. This is why we refer you to the following tools, updated regularly by the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec (INSPQ), to ensure that prevention measures are well implemented in your workplace:
Hierarchy of Controls in the Workplace | INSPQ
General recommendations for workplaces, outside healthcare settings: COVID-19 prevention measures | INSPQ
With the rapidly increasing number of cases, it is essential to tighten preventive measures now, including the following:
- Mandatory telework when the tasks allow it;
- Minimum distance of two meters between people;
- Continuous quality mask wearing;
- Favor the meal period in individual offices or outside the workplace.

The Committee on Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST) offers several tools to support workplaces in the context of COVID-19.
The measures proposed in its tools are part of a process of prioritizing means of prevention. The progress of the vaccination coverage of the population and the improvement of the epidemiological situation linked to COVID-19 allow the CNESST to undertake a gradual adjustment of preventive measures in the workplaces.
Depending on how the situation develops, the CNESST may quickly review the proposed adjustments. These adjustments do not take precedence over the laws and regulations in force in occupational health and safety (for example: wearing respiratory protection during exposure to asbestos or silica, wearing eye protection during welding, etc.).
Modification of certain preventive measures This document modifies certain measures presented in the Guide to health standards in the workplace - COVID-19 and in the additional tools for sectors. These recommendations are based on those produced by the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec and the Public Health Network in Occupational Health (RSPSAT).
At all times, workplaces with an outbreak of COVID-19 are required to comply with the measures recommended by the public health departments.
These adjustments do not apply, in particular, to care and living environments (residences for the elderly, prisons, youth centers, etc.) in the presence of people carrying COVID-19, presenting compatible symptoms. those with COVID-19 or who have had contact with a confirmed case. For more information, see the decision support tool.
The quality masks are:
- medical masks conforming to ASTM F2100 or EN 14683 type IIR standards;
- masks certified by the Bureau de normalization du Québec (BNQ) under the certificate 1922-900;
- any respirator (respirator) equipped with a particulate filter, as defined in the standard Choice, use and maintenance of respiratory protection devices (CSA Z94.4-18), such as respirators of the N95 or P100 type.
Wearing a quality mask continuously is not mandatory, but recommended.
The worker must respect physical distancing OR be protected by a physical barrier OR wear a quality mask.
For example: car, truck, bus, plane, elevator.
If a physical barrier is installed or if a quality mask is worn, there is no need to reduce the occupancy rate.
To find out the applicable rules, consult the CNESST COVID-19 kit and the INSPQ website
Dear clients,
We are concerned about the situation surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and your health and that of our employees is our top priority. In order to protect you and our employees, we have implemented stricter hygiene measures that we ask everyone to follow.
In addition to the basic hygiene rules recommended by Public Health (frequent hand washing, coughing in your elbow, etc.) here are the measures implemented in our concession:
- All surfaces frequently touched by customers and employees are disinfected several times a day. (Door handles, desks, chairs, toilets, taps, table, etc.)
- The interiors of all our courtesy vehicles, road test vehicles and vehicles on display in our showrooms are disinfected after each use.
- We ask our employees to respect the 2m rule with their colleague and with customers and to avoid handshakes. In addition, we recommend that they avoid group meetings and social activities and if they have a cough or fever, they should stay home.
- Our sales team will be divided into 2 groups according to a specific schedule in order to minimize the number of people present at the same time in the showroom. However, 100% of our team will be available by email, phone, and even to bring a vehicle to your home.
- The time required for the delivery of a new vehicle will be reduced in order to avoid periods of "customer / employee" proximity as much as possible. However, we offer you a “Facetime” delivery if you wish and our employees are available at all times to answer your questions.
- For the same reasons as in 5), test drives will be shorter than usual and our employees will be seated in the back seats.
- We have suspended all training outside our premises and our employees, who are returning from travel, are in quarantine at home for at least 14 days.
- All conferences, activities or vehicle launches are suspended at this time.
Rest assured that we remain attentive to the recommendations of the various authorities and adjust our actions accordingly. If, however, the closure of our dealership becomes necessary, our dedicated team will remain available remotely to answer your questions. We will keep you posted on any changes that may occur in the coming days on social media and on our website.

- We are suspending all training outside our premises.
- All employees returning from travel outside of Canada are required to adhere to a 14-day home quarantine before returning to work.
- All conferences, activities or vehicle launches are suspended for the time being.
Rest assured that we are listening to the recommendations of the various authorities and will adjust our actions accordingly in the days and weeks to come. Should we ever close the business, all communications will be emailed to you. It is therefore essential that the accounting department have a valid email address on hand to reach you. The management thanks you for your collaboration
Please note that the after-sales service department is open in accordance with public health recommendations. Despite everything, the sales department remains active online or by phone.
You can therefore plan your next purchase remotely.
The showroom must unfortunately be closed to the public during this new period of confinement. Despite it being freshly fitted out, impressive and state of the art, we are forced to wait for the return to normal for you to discover it.
Following the entry into force of the compulsory face covering in closed public places, various information has been brought to our attention concerning the entrance halls and reception areas following police checks.
We therefore validated the information to be transmitted with the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec (INSPQ).
First, remember that under the decree, workers are exempt from wearing a face covering subject to compliance with the guides put in place by the Commission des normes de l'énergie, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail. (CNESST) and INSPQ.
However, entrance halls and reception areas are treated differently since:
- Anyone, whether a citizen or a worker, who finds himself in the entrance hall or in a reception area must wear a face covering;
- A worker who is sitting behind a physical barrier (plexiglass) in the entrance hall or reception area can remove his face covering;
- This same worker, if he has to leave his protected space while remaining in the reception area, must wear a face cover;
- If the receptionist is traveling or accompanying a client and the distance of 2 meters CANNOT be respected, he must wear a face cover;
- If the receptionist is traveling or accompanying a client and the distance of 2 meters CAN be respected, it is possible to remove his face cover.
For example, a worker sitting at his desk in your dealer's lobby can remove his face covering, provided physical barriers such as plexiglass are properly installed. If this worker leaves his protected space, he will be required to wear a face covering if he remains in the entrance hall or if he has to accompany a person without being able to respect the 2-meter distance.
Some dealerships are designed so that there is a reception area in the service department where technical advisers greet customers. The same reasoning applies if the counselor remains seated behind a physical barrier, then they can remove their face covering. On the other hand, if he has to leave the protected space, he will have to wear a face covering if he remains in the reception area or if he accompanies a client without being able to respect the 2 meters distance.
It should be remembered that despite the exceptions provided, an employer may require its staff that a face covering be worn at all times, subject to special measures. Such a policy is entirely justifiable, and even recommended by the CCAQ in the current context, especially for reception areas where the public is mainly admitted.
Make an appointment:
It is important to have an appointment confirmation before coming to our dealership.

Cited as a mantra by the Director of Public Health of Canada and the Federal Minister of Health, refers to an epidemiological chart that illustrates the daily number of new cases of the virus over time.
Experts say this graph shows the importance of slowing the spread of the virus first, so that the infection rate does not exceed the capacity of health systems.
The graph shows two curves, in the shape of a bell, illustrating two possible scenarios for the evolution of the epidemic. The first curve shows a sudden spike in cases, which will for some time exceed the limited capacity of the health system.
In the other scenario, steps are taken to manage the number of active cases in a given period. This curve, which is flatter and stretched over a longer period of time, does not, however, exceed the threshold for overloading the health system. This slowed down the "dynamics of the epidemic": this is what public health officials are currently dreaming of.

We are concerned about the situation surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease and your health and that of our customers is our top priority. In order to protect you and the customers who visit us, we have implemented stricter hygiene measures which we ask everyone to observe.
In addition to the basic hygiene rules recommended by Public Health (frequent hand washing, coughing in your elbow, etc.) here are the additional measures implemented in our concession:
- All surfaces frequently touched by customers and employees will be disinfected several times a day. (Door handles, desks, chairs, toilets, taps, table, etc.)
- Dinner hours will be changed to avoid too many people in the same place at the same time.
- The possibility of teleworking will be offered to employees with fragile health and / or to those who occupy a position which allows it. The interior of all our courtesy vehicles, road test vehicles and vehicles on display in our showrooms will be disinfected after each use.
- Representatives must use the products available to them to disinfect vehicles after a test drive. (steering wheel, window button, door handles, gearshift knob, seat button, etc.)
- We ask all employees to respect the 1m distance instruction with their colleague and with customers and to avoid handshakes. In addition, we recommend that you avoid all group meetings or social activities and if you have a cough or fever you should stay at home.
- Our sales team will be divided into 2 groups according to a specific schedule in order to minimize the number of people present at the same time in the showroom. However, 100% of our team will be available by email, phone, and even to go and present a vehicle at the customer's residence if they wish.
- We ask all managers to stay in their office as much as possible, limit their travel around the company, and diligently follow the above guidelines if they need to meet with clients.
- The time required for the delivery of a new vehicle will be reduced in order to avoid periods of "customer / employee" proximity as much as possible. However, we will offer "Facetime" delivery if the customer so desires and our employees must remain available at all times to answer customer questions.
- For the same reasons as in 5), test drives will be shorter than usual and our employees will have to sit in the back seat of the vehicle.
Isolating yourself means staying home when you have coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and avoiding contact with other people to prevent the disease from spreading to others in your household and community.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, you should take the following steps.
Limit contact with other people
- Do not leave your home unless absolutely necessary, for example to seek medical care.
- Do not go to school, work, other public places, or use public transport (such as buses and taxis).
- Arrange for your groceries and supplies to be left at your doorstep to limit contact.
- Stay in a separate bedroom and don't use the same bathroom as other family members, if possible.
- If you must be in contact with another person, keep a distance of at least two (2) meters between you and them. Keep interactions brief and wear a mask.
- Avoid contact with people with chronic illnesses, people with weakened immune systems, and the elderly.
- Avoid contact with pets if you live with other people who may also touch them.
Keep your hands clean
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and dry them with disposable paper towels or reusable dry towels, which you replace when they get wet.
- You can also remove the dirt with a wet wipe, then use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Cough or sneeze into the fold of your arm or into a tissue.
Avoid contaminating common objects and surfaces
- At least once a day, clean and disinfect surfaces you touch often, such as toilets, bedside tables, doorknobs, telephones, and TV remotes.
- Do not share personal items with other people, such as toothbrushes, towels, bedding, utensils, or electronics.
- Use regular household disinfectants or diluted bleach (1 part bleach and 9 parts water) to disinfect objects and surfaces.
- Place contaminated items that cannot be cleaned in a plastic-lined container, seal the container tightly, and dispose of it with other household waste.
- Close the toilet lid before flushing the toilet.
Take care of yourself
- Monitor your symptoms for progress as directed by your health care provider or public health authority.
- If your symptoms worsen, contact your healthcare provider or public health authority immediately and follow their instructions.
