The Porsche Dashcam is suitable for making videos of driving situations and parking maneuvers. It is operated via a special application in which all settings can be made. Recorded videos are saved on the supplied SD card and continuously overwritten. If the Dashcam detects a strong vibration or if the radar sensor is triggered, the recorded video is stored separately and is not overwritten. Recordings can be downloaded directly from the SD card or through the app.
Details:
• Video recording in QHD
• Audio recording (can be disabled)
• GPS sensor
• Radar sensor to record video if an object approaches the vehicle (depending on the vehicle model)
• Vibration sensor (depends on vehicle model)
• Lens with polarizing filter to reduce glare and improve colors and contrast
• Windshield holder for secure mounting on the vehicle
"Driving" mode: Recording starts automatically when the engine is started. If a vibration event occurs, the 10 seconds before the event and the time after the event are stored separately. The vibration sensor can be turned off for filming on the race track using the "Continuous" setting in the app.
"Park" mode: during parking maneuvers, the Dashcam is in standby mode but ready to operate. The recording is triggered by the radar sensor or the vibration sensor. The duration and extent of standby mode vary depending on the vehicle model and equipment.

All the tires offered by your Porsche Center are part of the personalized range of Porsche tires. This range created by Porsche is the result of many years of close collaboration with the main tire manufacturers. Porsche works with tire manufacturers to jointly develop the optimum tire type for each model to meet its specific performance requirements.
The N marking on these tires indicates that they have been thoroughly tested and approved by Porsche (the letter stands for “Nürburgring” where the tires are tested). The second letter after the N indicates the range. You will find more information on this subject in the technical characteristics of each tire.
For example, the Porsche 992 tire will be marked NA, indicating that it is:
N - approved by Porsche
A - developed for the Porsche 992
Porsche tires marked with an N differ from others mainly in their geometry, rubber composition and test methods. The tests cover three main areas:
1. Subjective external criteria, such as handling and driving comfort
2. External objective criteria, such as braking performance and service life.
3. Interior criteria, such as rolling resistance and performance at high speeds
During development, tire geometry and rubber composition, in particular, are tailored to Porsche vehicles. Whether it is all-season, winter, summer or sport tires, Porsche tires marked with an N stand for excellent handling and maximum driving pleasure. They also ensure that your vehicle retains its original driving performance and safety margins, even after fitting a new tire.
