Étienne Léger on the podium in front of his supporters!
In a Porsche Centre Rive-Sud filled with around a hundred fans who came to attend the seventh evening of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada, Étienne Léger climbed onto the third step of the podium in GT4 Clupsport.
This result allowed Étienne to consolidate his hold on 3rd place in the drivers' standings and move within 33 points of 2nd place.
In GT3 Cup, our driver Andrew Caron had a more difficult evening, his first such this season. It must be said that races in front of an audience always take drivers out of their comfort zone. In Andrew's case, he finished fifth in the race. He still maintained his hold on first place in the GT3 Cup drivers' standings, but his lead fell from 45 to 18 points.
It promises to be a hot fight on Thursday evening, when the eighth and final evening of racing will take place on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Be one of us!
Second, Andrew Caron is still at the top!
Our driver Andrew Caron took the second step of the podium during the sixth evening of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada contested on the Belgian Spa Francorchamps circuit.
This result allowed Andrew to increase his priority at the top of the GT3 Cup driver standings. His lead is now 45 points over his closest pursuer.
In the GT4 Clubsport category, our driver Étienne Léger had a much better evening than his 15th place in the final ranking suggests. Starting third on the starting grid, Étienne climbed to second, before going up against the race leader for pole position.
Unfortunately, a collision between the two drivers caused Étienne to lose control, who spun 180 degrees on the track. This incident relegated him to 19th in the race. However, he remains in 3rd place in the ranking of drivers in his category.
In the team rankings, Porsche Rive-Sud still occupies second place, behind our sister dealership Porsche Lauzon.
The seventh race of the season will take place this Thursday on the American Road Atlanta circuit. Be one of us!
