Porsche recently earned the coveted Canadian Black Book (CBB) “2021 Overall Brand Award – Luxury” for achieving best retained value on average throughout the entire model range, an impressive accomplishment that also saw the 911, Panamera and Macan topping their respective Premium Sporty Car, Prestige Luxury Car, and Compact Luxury Crossover categories.
“We are honoured and delighted to accept the Overall Brand Award – Luxury as well as three model accolades from Canadian Black Book this year,” said Marc Ouayoun, President and CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “Consumers have many available choices in the market and we welcome these recognitions, which provide an additional reason to consider the brand. These outstanding acknowledgments by the leading authority highlight strong value retentions which ultimately benefit the customer.”
Vehicles receiving a CBB “Best Retained Value Awards” designation have proven to retain the highest percentage of their manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) after four years of use.
Of note, the Panamera has topped its Prestige Luxury Car class for eight consecutive years, while this is the second year for the 911 doing the same in its Premium Sporty Car category, and the third year for the Macan beating all challengers in the hotly contested Compact Luxury Crossover segment. Additionally, Porsche has earned the best-possible Overall Luxury Brand Award four years in a row.
As it is, CBB continues to clarify that buying your preferred Porsche performance car or SUV not only satisfies the senses, but remains the smartest business decision too.
