The day’s events were bridged by a catered lunch courtesy of Villa Eyrie, where attendees indulged in gourmet cuisine while mingling with like-minded enthusiasts.
Cultured Kombucha was also in attendance providing a selection of their local brews for sampling, adding a tangy twist to the day's activities. However, the true highlight of the event was the presence and expertise of Nicole Havrda, a rising star in the world of motorsport.
Nicole, known for her achievements on the track and dedication to women’s representation in racing, arrived primed to take to the tarmac. Hailing from Vancouver Island, Nicole's impressive racing resume speaks volumes about her talent and determination. From Formula 3 championships to international competitions, Nicole's journey embodies the spirit of perseverance and excellence.
The track employees coached the participants through various driving techniques, including dynamic manoeuvres, auto slalom, and trail track driving while Nicole shared her insights and expertise, offering tips and showcasing her skills. For many attendees, the day's highlight was riding alongside Nicole in a Porsche 911, an experience guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
While participants had the chance to drive their own Porsches, the event also offered test drives of the latest models, including the Taycan, Cayenne, and Macan, providing a glimpse into the future of automotive performance.
