Proper Porsche passion was on full display this past November as several lovely ladies joined us for a wonderful weekend experience. The inaugural Porsche Ladies Driver’s Club getaway experience was as thrilling as it was relaxing, enjoying the most of Vancouver Island’s inspiring and relaxing vistas, and the unmatched prowess of Porsche dynamics.
The weekend started with the ladies, their besties, and the Porsche Centre Victoria team meeting at Villa Eyrie Resort for a delicious breakfast overlooking a clear and breathtaking view of the Saanich Inlet from Alpina Restaurant’s windows. More stunning views were had afterwards as the convoy drove along the picturesque roads from Villa Eyrie Resort to Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. After a drivers briefing, the drivers made quick work of mastering the circuit’s autocross course. With their skills sharpened and the anticipation built, the drivers took to the circuit. Several laps of navigating the circuit’s 19-corners saw lap times progressively tumble as drivers grew more familiar with the layout, the dynamics of their Porsches, and their own driving capabilities. After a short cool-down, both for cars and drivers, the group departed back to Villa Eyrie Resort for a gourmet group dinner at Alpina Restaurant. Discussions of cars, motorsport, the day’s events, and the greater world were had before everyone retired to their suites for the evening.
We cannot wait for our next outing. Contact us to learn more of future events and to sign-up with the Porsche Ladies Driver’s Club.
