Porsche Centre Victoria is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the new Porsche Pre-owned and Service Centre in Nanaimo on February 28th. As the first centre of its kind in Western Canada, the ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter for Porsche and reinforces our commitment to bringing unparalleled experiences to our clients.
Introducing Destination Porsche
Despite the persistent heavy rain, the event saw the gathering of about 25 attendees, including members of the Nanaimo city council led by Mayor Leonard Krog, representatives from Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL), and members of Porsche Centre Victoria. The presence of esteemed guests, PC Victoria clients, and media personnel highlighted the community's collective support and anticipation for this venture.
The new centre in Nanaimo is being constructed under the 'Destination Porsche' design concept, embodying a modern, welcoming space for all customers, visitors, and Porsche enthusiasts. This design philosophy aims to create an inviting atmosphere that reflects Porsche's commitment to excellence and its community. "This will be the first Porsche pre-owned and service centre in Western Canada," noted Derek Tadros, Director of Retail Development at Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., highlighting the significance of this development.
Commitment to the Future
Community leaders including Peter Trzewik, COO of Gain Group, Derek Tadros, and Mayor Leonard Krog took a moment to share their thoughts at the groundbreaking event. Notably, Mayor Krog commended Porsche's "commitment to Nanaimo’s future," echoing the city's enthusiasm for welcoming such a respected brand and innovative facility to serve the local public and surrounding areas.
As construction progresses towards its completion in spring 2025, Porsche Centre Victoria remains excited and grateful for the opportunity to extend its dedication to excellence to Nanaimo. We eagerly anticipate the day we can open the doors of the Porsche Pre-owned and Service Centre and create a new landmark for Porsche passion in Western Canada.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey in Nanaimo, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the rain to celebrate this important occasion with us.
