It feels like spring has come to Vancouver Island earlier this year, and the nicer weather has thankfully brought great driving conditions with it - right on time for Mother's Day. This past May 14th, our Porsche Ladies Driver's Club got together to celebrate and indulge in an authentic motorsport experience.

The day started with everyone meeting in the dynamic driving area at the picturesque Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. After opening remarks and briefings, each driver quickly and carefully navigated their Porsche through the intricately configured autocross layout, getting as close to the traffic cones as possible without knocking any over. After mastering the fundamentals of handling the ladies took to tackling the Circuit. The changing elevation and 19 challenging corners were a proper test for the drivers and the eclectic mix of Porsches present. But each lap saw comfort and confidence improve as lap times decreased. The exciting track day concluded with a cool down and debrief with light refreshments following the on-track action, and all departed with a deeper appreciation of their Porsche's dynamic abilities and heightened driving skills.
