Annual High Performance Driving Day
On September 22, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual high performance driving day, and this year, we made it even more special by partnering with the Island Kids Cancer Association (IKCA).
Supporting Families Affected by Childhood Cancer
Founded in 2017, the IKCA is dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families navigating the life-changing diagnosis of childhood cancer. They provide essential year-round support specifically for those affected on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, filling a crucial gap in local services. Their mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to giving back to the community.
A Memorable Day at Vancouver Island Motor Circuit
We welcomed IKCA families and representatives to the Vancouver Island Motor Circuit, where our clients and staff had the incredible opportunity to give these brave children and their families a once-in-a-lifetime experience—racing around the track in a fleet of Porsches.
The excitement was palpable as our Porsche Victoria clients and staff joined the IKCA community for a day filled with joy and adrenaline. Attendees were treated to a showcase of high-performance vehicles during open lapping and lead-follow sessions, creating an unforgettable experience.
Heartfelt Connections and Delicious Food
In the afternoon, we gathered for a delicious lunch catered by Villa Eyrie Resort. This was not just a meal; it was a chance to connect. We heard from Susan Kerr, the Executive Director of the IKCA, and a father who has benefited from the organization. Their heartfelt stories underscored the importance of our partnership and reminded us all of the impact we can make together.
A Shared Passion for Performance Vehicles
It was truly inspiring to see two communities come together through a shared love for performance vehicles. Our staff were thrilled to drive these kids around the track, and the smiles on their faces said it all.
A Generous Donation for a Worthy Cause
Thanks to the generosity of our clients, we are proud to announce that we raised an incredible $34,925.00 for the IKCA. This donation will go a long way in supporting the vital work they do for families affected by childhood cancer.
