Notable updates include the introduction of 14 new captivating colors, larger-standard wheels with seven new designs, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), standard Sport Design exterior mirrors, newly designed center console with intuitive touch surfaces, several new upholstery and stitching combinations, new multifunction and GT Sport steering wheels (first seen on the 911), and the comprehensive GTS Sport package containing even more exclusive equipment for the Macan GTS.

A 2.9-litre twin turbocharged V6 powers both the Macan S and Macan GTS, the latter being the most powerful and sporty of the range, while a newly developed 2.0-litre turbocharged I4 engine powers the entry level Macan. All Macan variants deploy their power through a seven-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) to all four-wheels. Power for the Macan lineup ranges from 265 PS – 440 PS / 400 Nm – 550 Nm.
