GTS – a moniker held in high regard throughout Porsche’s history, most often denoting road cars with credible and usable performance. The next champion of the GTS badge is Porsche’s first all-electric car, the Taycan.
The introduction of the GTS model is marked with two distinct bodystyles – the Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. The latter shares its sporty silhouette and sloping roofline with the Taycan Cross Turismo, albeit with a lower ride height and exterior details. Overall, the GTS signifies a dynamic sweet spot in the Taycan range, possessing luxury and comfort accoutrements present in the Taycan 4S while incorporating sportier elements of the Taycan Turbo S. Both bodystyles deploy 590 bhp (on overboost) and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in as little as 3.7 seconds. Also present is uniquely calibrated Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), optional rear-axle steering, distinct black or dark details inside and out, and available interior finishes in Black Race-Tex material. Another notable feature introduced with the GTS models is a panoramic roof with Sunshine Control – a glass roof divided into nine individually controllable segments that can adjust its opacity to prevent glare while still letting natural light into the interior. The Taycan GTS Sport Turismo marks itself with more headroom and more than 1,200 liters of trunk storage capacity.
Deliveries of the Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo are expected in the second quarter of 2022. Contact us today to learn more and to place your order.
