From 1963 to 2023!
To mark the special anniversary of the iconic 911, Porsche launched a new Porsche 911 celebrating the original 911 Carrera ST of 1970. The 2024 911 S/T is a limited edition (only 1963 will be produced) using the engine of the GT3 RS, the body of the GT3 Touring and a manual transmission. The best attributes of the track cars for road use here.
Performance
Maximum power of 518 hp // Acceleration from 0 - 100 km in 3.7 s // Top track speed of 300 km/h
Wait! What about the weight?
Weight plays a big role in performance. The new 911 S/T is the lightest of all 992-generation models. Lightweight from the wing to the clutch! To achieve such a feat, the lightest materials and components like mainly carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) for the body, magnesium for the wheels, a new engineered lightweight clutch with a single-mass flywheel and sport exhaust system were used. The result, a total weight of just 1380 kg.
