At Porsche Centre Aberdeen, we are proud to play our part in driving positive environmental, social and governance (ESG) impact - both within our Centre and throughout the wider community. In alignment with Porsche Cars GB’s “Road to 2030 and beyond” strategy, we are actively implementing initiatives that reduce our carbon footprint, support the communities we serve, and uphold the highest standards of ethical and transparent business practices.
Our ESG approach is built around three key pillars:
Environmental
Sustainability is at the heart of the future of mobility, and Porsche Centre Aberdeen is fully committed to supporting this transition.
We are actively promoting Porsche’s electrified model range through a robust EV campaign, helping customers discover the performance and sustainability benefits of vehicles such as the all-electric Taycan and Macan. By increasing awareness and accessibility, we aim to accelerate the shift towards low-emission driving.
To support this, we have installed Porsche electric vehicle charging points at the Centre, making it easier for customers and visitors to charge conveniently and confidently.
Internally, we have also embraced paperless operations to minimise waste and reduce our environmental impact. This includes:
- Digital invoicing
- Electronic vehicle registration processes
- Paperless sales contracts
These changes significantly reduce paper consumption while streamlining the customer journey.
Together, these initiatives contribute to our goal of reducing emissions and supporting a cleaner, more sustainable automotive future.
Social
We believe that being a responsible business means making a meaningful difference within our community and supporting the wellbeing of our people.
Porsche Centre Aberdeen is proud to give back through a range of charitable and community initiatives, including:
- Volunteering with Somebody Cares Scotland, assisting in sorting and organising vital donations within their warehouse
- Supporting The Lullaby Trust through involvement in the 3 Peaks Challenge
- Donating back-to-school packs for Aberdeen Carers Support Services, helping young carers prepare for the school year
- Annual fundraising for BBC Children in Need and Save the Children
These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting those in need locally and nationally.
Within our workplace, we prioritise the safety and development of our team:
- Workplace Safety: We enforce rigorous safety protocols in our workshop environments, including proper ventilation and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Technician Training: We invest in advanced training and certifications, enabling our technicians to safely service high-voltage electric vehicles and modern driver-assistance systems
By investing in our people and our community, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact beyond our Centre.
Governance
Strong governance ensures that we operate with integrity, accountability and transparency in everything we do.
At Porsche Centre Aberdeen, we are committed to:
- Transparent customer practices: Providing clear, accurate information on vehicle pricing, financing options, and ownership to support informed decision-making and uphold consumer duty standards
- Ethical sales and aftersales processes: Ensuring that all customer interactions are fair, honest, and fully compliant with regulatory expectations
- Data protection and privacy: Safeguarding customer and employee information through secure systems and responsible data handling
By embedding strong governance practices, we reinforce trust with our customers, employees and stakeholders.
At Porsche Centre Aberdeen, ESG is not just a commitment - it is an ongoing journey. By supporting Porsche Cars GB’s “Road to 2030 and beyond”, we are taking meaningful steps to create a more sustainable, ethical and community-focused future.
