The Padel Club, which has 11 high-specification courts, officially opened following a £2.5 million investment. The new facility includes a clubhouse, a restaurant, and a retail store offering padel equipment and merchandise.
The new Porsche Centre Bolton court is now available to the public for games. The Trafford City venue is The Padel Club’s first location, with plans for further expansion in the UK.
Steve Webb of Porsche Centre Bolton said: "We’re excited to be part of the Padel Club’s journey and to support the growth of this fast-paced and sociable sport. The new facility is a fantastic addition to Trafford City, and we’re proud to have our name associated with it."
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, combining elements of tennis and squash. Trafford City’s location is expected to attract both casual players and competitive athletes, contributing to the club’s ambition to make Padel more accessible.
Pippa Nash, Head of Brand Marketing for The Padel Club, said: "The support from Porsche Centre Bolton is brilliant for us. This partnership helps raise awareness of the sport and adds to the prestige of our new venue. We’re looking forward to welcoming players of all levels to our courts."
The Padel Club at Trafford City is now open, offering year-round play with covered and open-air courts, as well as coaching and membership options.
