The New Porsche Cayenne Electric

The new Porsche Cayenne Electric marks a major milestone: the headline-SUV from Porsche is now offered as a fully electric vehicle. The Cayenne Electric launches with two versions — a standard model and the high-performance Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric — bringing Porsche’s performance DNA into the EV era.

Let’s explore highlights of the New Porsche Cayenne Electric:

Performance and powertrain

The standard Cayenne Electric produces up to 300 kW (≈ 408 PS) in normal mode, rising to 325 kW (≈ 442 PS) with Launch Control, delivering 0–100 km/h in around 4.8 seconds and a top speed near 230 km/h.
The Turbo Electric is a genuine powerhouse — up to 850 kW (about 1,156 PS) and up to 1,500 Nm of torque (in Launch Control mode), enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in about 2.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, and a top speed of 260 km/h.
Both variants feature all-wheel drive with Porsche’s electronic traction management (ePTM), adaptive air suspension (PASM) as standard, and available extras like rear-axle steering, rear differential (in Turbo), and even active suspension for enhanced handling and ride comfort.

Battery, range, and charging

At its heart lies a newly developed 113 kWh high-voltage battery, integrated into the vehicle structure — improving energy density, lowering centre of gravity, and increasing rigidity for better dynamics.
Porsche claims a combined WLTP range of up to 642 km for the standard Cayenne Electric and around 623 km for the Turbo.

Interior, design and practicality

Inside, the Cayenne Electric introduces the brand’s most advanced cabin yet. The “Flow Display” — a sweeping curved OLED screen — becomes the centrepiece, complemented by a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster and optional passenger display. It creates Porsche’s largest digital display environment to date.
The interior combines luxury, comfort and flexibility: adjustable rear seats, mood-based ambient lighting, and a choice of multiple trims and finishes to suit different tastes.
As an SUV, the Cayenne Electric remains practical: a longer wheelbase and increased interior space, generous luggage capacity, and even a towbar option — suitable for towing up to 3,000 kg (or up to 3,500 kg with the Off-Road package).
