Porsche Centre Colchester is proud to announce its partnership with Braintree Rugby Club, a dynamic and growing community club that began its journey at the start of this season. Dan Woolley our Aftersales Manager is a Youth and Mini Coach at the club, so this collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting our team, local initiatives and encouraging youth development in sport.
As part of our sponsorship, we have provided training tops for the Under-8 team, helping young players train with confidence and pride. Our presence is also visible at the club’s home ground with a pitch-side board on the 1st team pitch, reinforcing our support for the senior squad.
Looking ahead, Porsche Centre Colchester will serve as the main sponsor for the Presidents Day Lunch during the last home game of the season in March, as well as the Youth & Mini Awards Day in May—two significant events that celebrate the achievements and dedication of players across all age groups.
The Youth & Mini section of Braintree Rugby Club is thriving, with over 300 members ranging from the youngest “Bumbles” (aged 4 and 5) to players up to 16 years old before they progress to the academy and, ultimately, the 1st XV. The club proudly wears its home colours of black and yellow, symbolising its strong identity and community spirit.
