Porsche has introduced the new Cayenne S Electric, the third model in its all-electric Cayenne line-up. Positioned between the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Electric Turbo, the new variant combines strong performance with efficiency and expanded equipment options.
The Cayenne S Electric produces 400 kW (544 PS) from its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, rising to 490 kW (666 PS) with Launch Control. It accelerates from 0–62 mph in 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of up to 155 mph where permitted. The new SUV offers a WLTP driving range of up to 405 miles, depending on driving style and conditions.
All Cayenne Electric models use a 113 kWh high-voltage battery. With compatible fast-charging stations delivering up to 400 kW, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 16 minutes under optimal conditions.
The Cayenne S Electric features permanent-magnet synchronous motors on both axles. The rear motor uses direct oil cooling to improve efficiency and maintain performance during sustained high loads. Its pulse inverter uses silicon carbide semiconductors and can process currents of up to 620 amps. Visually, the model stands out with Volcano Grey Metallic front and rear apron elements, body-coloured diffuser inserts and 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Several performance features previously reserved for the Turbo model are now optional, including Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), Porsche Active Ride suspension and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system. The optional Sport Chrono Package introduces a Push-to-Pass function, delivering up to 90 kW (122 PS) of additional power for 10 seconds. A dedicated Track mode prepares the battery and systems for maximum performance on circuit.
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is also launching the new Interior Style Package under the brand’s ‘Style’ product line. Available for all Cayenne Electric variants, the package combines a Mystic Green Metallic-inspired theme with two-tone Black and Delgada Green leather upholstery, decorative Izabal Green trim and detailed stitching throughout the cabin. Additional features include a GT sports steering wheel with green accents, illuminated door sill guards and matching design elements across the instrument cluster and interior fittings.
