Porsche has enjoyed a successful week of accolades, being named Most Loved Brand at the 2026 Autotrader Drivers’ Choice Awards, while the iconic Porsche 911 retained its title as Best Luxury Car for a second consecutive year.
Based on feedback from more than 160,000 UK car owners, the awards recognised performance, quality and everyday usability. Autotrader’s YouTube Director, Rory Reid, said the results reflected the strong connection owners have with the brand and highlighted the 911’s unique ability to combine driving excitement with real-world practicality.
Porsche also celebrated success at the 2026 Autocar Awards, where the 911 GT3 with Touring Package was named Britain’s Best Driver’s Car. The victory marked a historic third win for the model, making it the first car ever to claim the title three times.
Autocar Editor Mark Tisshaw praised the 911 GT3 for its analogue character, driver engagement and communicative handling, noting that it outperformed more technically complex rivals.
The honours come as Porsche marks the 75th anniversary of the first Porsche sold in the UK, underlining the enduring appeal of both the brand and the 911, which has been in continuous production since 1963. Porsche will continue its anniversary celebrations later this month with Sunstede, a celebration of Porsche car culture and community, held at the Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.
