Porsche Cars GB will debut a special 911 GT3 Earls Court 51 Edition at the Icons of Porsche: Sunstede Silverstone Edition event on 20-21 June, commemorating 75 years since the first Porsche arrived in Britain. Only 51 units will be produced, each inspired by the 1951 Porsche 356 coupes displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show.
The car features a bespoke Earls Court Green Metallic paint, developed through the Paint to Sample Plus programme, and a two tone Night Green and Chalk Beige interior with corduroy elements referencing the original 356.
Based on the 911 GT3 Touring, the edition retains a 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat six producing 510 PS, paired with a six speed manual (PDK optional). It accelerates to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and reaches 194 mph.
Each car includes a Porsche Design chronograph, a Night Green leather Weekender bag, a 1:18 scale model and a commemorative book. Pricing starts at £251,951.
Alongside the new model, Porsche will display a stunning Factory Recommissioned 1951 Porsche 356, restored in matching Earls Court Green with updated interior materials that echo the GT3.
The project highlights Porsche’s Sonderwunsch personalisation programme, which enables bespoke one off builds and factory recommissions for both modern and classic models.
