Porsche has unveiled the new 911 GT3, marking a significant milestone as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the GT3 line. This latest iteration features a powerful 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces an exhilarating 518 hp, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
The 911 GT3 is designed with advanced aerodynamics in mind. A striking rear wing and an optimized front splitter enhance downforce and stability, especially during high-speed manoeuvres. The vehicle’s lightweight construction, utilizing extensive carbon fibre components, not only boosts performance but also improves handling dynamics, making it a joy to drive both on the track and the road.
For the first time, the popular Touring package will be available right from the market launch. The “Touring Package” designation goes back to an equipment variant of the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7. It has been part of the GT3 programme since 2017. This model maintains the same powerful engine and performance capabilities but offers a more understated design, appealing to those who prefer a more classic aesthetic without sacrificing performance.
Both models come equipped with Porsche's latest technology, including an upgraded infotainment system that enhances connectivity and driver experience. The refined chassis provides exceptional responsiveness, ensuring that drivers can fully exploit the car's capabilities.
With this launch, Porsche continues to honour the legacy of the GT3 series, blending tradition with modern innovation.
