Porsche has unveiled an exceptional collector’s model that celebrates the design philosophy and legacy of Ferdinand Alexander (F. A.) Porsche. The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche is a highly exclusive limited-edition model, created as a tribute to the man whose vision helped define the Porsche brand as we know it today.
Inspired by Personal History
The exterior and interior of the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche take inspiration from a G-Series 911 driven by F. A. Porsche during the 1980s. Built by Porsche Sonderwunsch, just 90 examples will be produced worldwide, each featuring carefully curated Heritage Design elements. One example has been retained by his son, Mark Porsche, with the remaining cars offered to customers globally.
Owners will also be invited to take part in a highly personalised Sonderwunsch experience, allowing further individualisation of their car prior to production.
GT3 Performance, Touring Character
The collector’s model is based on the 911 GT3 with Touring Package, combining understated design with unmistakable GT performance. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine producing 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque, paired with the Touring Package’s extendable rear spoiler for a more discreet appearance.
The 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche is scheduled to be available to order from April 2026, with production beginning in the second half of 2026 following final customer configuration.
F. A. Greenmetallic and Heritage Details
A defining feature of the anniversary model is its exclusive Paint to Sample Plus colour: F. A. Greenmetallic. Inspired by the Oakgreenmetallic finish of F. A. Porsche’s own 911, the colour was developed in close collaboration with the Porsche family. This model is also the first to feature a new Paint to Sample Plus identification label on the A-pillar.
Further exterior highlights include satin-gloss black Sport Classic wheels inspired by historic Fuchs rims, complete with central locking and the historic 1963 Porsche crest. A galvanised gold-plated ‘90 F. A. Porsche’ badge on the front luggage compartment grille completes the exterior.
Interior Inspired by Design Philosophy
Inside, Truffle Brown Club Leather upholstery is paired with Chalk Beige decorative stitching and distinctive F. A. Grid-Weave fabric on the seat centres. The woven fabric, inspired by patterns found in F. A. Porsche’s favourite jackets, can also be found in the glove box, board briefcase and luggage compartment mat.
Exclusive interior details include an open-pore walnut gear knob engraved with F. A. Porsche’s signature, a Sport Chrono clock inspired by the original Chronograph I, and gold-plated plaques identifying each car as ‘One of 90’.
Porsche Design Chronograph 1 and Weekender Bag
Each vehicle is delivered with an exclusive Porsche Design Chronograph 1 – 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche Edition. The watch features a black-coated titanium case, vintage-inspired Super-LumiNova® details, F. A. Porsche’s signature and individual limited-edition numbering.
Completing the package is a bespoke Porsche Design weekender bag, crafted from Truffle Brown leather with Chalk Beige stitching and lined with the same F. A. Grid-Weave fabric found in the car’s interior.
