Aftersales Sales Specialist

Porsche Centre Preston has an exciting opportunity for an Aftersales Sales Specialist to join one of the world’s most iconic luxury automotive brands at their state-of-the-art Centre in Preston.

 

Our modern facility features a 35-car showroom, 12-bay workshop, dedicated customer handover bay, two Direct Dialogue bays, and electric vehicle (EV) charging points, offering an exceptional environment for both customers and colleagues.

The Role

 

This role is key to delivering a premium aftersales experience and maximizing revenue through exceptional customer engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Maximizing aftersales revenue through proactive customer interaction and delivering an outstanding service experience

  • Acting as the primary liaison between customers and workshop technicians

  • Championing the Vehicle Health Check (VHC) process, ensuring customers receive clear, professional, and timely vehicle reports

  • Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to ensure customers are kept fully informed and work is completed within agreed timescales

  • Supporting Service Management in improving processes and enhancing the quality of customer communication, both on the day of the visit and during follow-up of diarized work

  • Assessing vehicle service requirements and recommending scheduled maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories, and approved aftermarket products

  • Promoting additional services and upgrades in a consultative and customer-focused manner

  • Ensuring parts availability and technician scheduling to maintain efficient workflow

  • Providing accurate and transparent cost estimates to customers

  • Driving sales of aftersales products, accessories, and parts to meet or exceed departmental targets

 


 

Skills & Experience

 

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service

  • Self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Previous sales experience, ideally within the automotive sector (advantageous but not essential)

  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently

  • Sales-focused mindset with the ability to upsell in a consultative, non-pressured manner

  • Understanding of warranty processes, dealer management systems (DMS), and basic automotive technical knowledge

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and DMS software

  • Full UK driving license
