At Porsche Centre Preston, we are proud to celebrate the incredible women who continue to drive success and innovation, not just within our business, but across our community. In collaboration with Burnley.co.uk, we recently hosted an exclusive International Women’s Day event at The Crow Wood Hotel, bringing together inspiring female leaders from Burnley and beyond.

 

The event, which took place on Wednesday, 26th February, was a unique celebration of female talent and leadership. Twelve exceptional women, carefully selected by the Burnley brand team for their positive impact on both the borough and their respective industries, gathered for a day filled with excitement, inspiration, and camaraderie.

 

The day kicked off at 11:00 am with welcome coffees and introductions in the bar reception area of The Crow Wood Hotel, where guests were greeted and briefed on the activities ahead. After a warm welcome, attendees were invited to experience the latest Porsche models during a driving experience from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Each participant was paired with another female leader, swapping vehicles and drivers halfway through to ensure everyone got a chance to experience the Porsche drive.

 

Following the driving experience, guests enjoyed a well-deserved two-course lunch at Bertram's, where they could reflect on the day’s events, share their thoughts, and network with fellow female leaders.
