At Porsche Centre South Lakes, we are dedicated to celebrating creativity and community. Recently, we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Highest Point Festival, an event that brought together music, art, and culture in a vibrant celebration. As part of our festival activation, we collaborated with up-and-coming artist Jamie Ashcroft to create a unique festival Art Car using our brand-new Taycan demonstrator.
Jamie Ashcroft's Vision
Jamie Ashcroft's artistic vision transformed the Taycan into a stunning work of art. Jamie shared his inspiration and process:
"Starting with my design, I aimed for the car to embody the spirit of a spring/summer festival while incorporating my usual style. I love the idea of integrating flowers and unique lighting elements. Flowers, with their beauty and diversity, exude so much life, which is why I have the word tattooed on my arm. When I paint flowers, I depict them as I perceive them, and this time, I chose a street art graffiti style. This raw approach, combined with the juxtaposition text I use, perfectly matched the vibrant atmosphere of the weekend. A big thanks to Porsche South Lakes and Highest Point Festival—it’s truly been an incredible experience!"
The Taycan Art Car
The Porsche Taycan, known for its innovative electric performance and sleek design, provided the perfect canvas for Jamie's artistic expression. The combination of his street art graffiti style with vibrant floral elements brought a fresh and lively aesthetic to the car, capturing the essence of the festival.
