At Porsche Centre Wilmslow, we are running a campaign called Charged With Experience - an incentive for staff to experience Porsche Electric vehicles and see what living with an EV is like. Week three, Chloe, our Service Advisor took the Macan EV to the Emirates Stadium. Chloe had great things to say surrounding the Porsche EV charging experience. With the built-in Sat Nav, the car located the fastest chargers on the route to the Emirates Stadium. Chloe said 'From Wilmslow to the Arsenal Emirates stadium it was a 442 miles round trip with only 1 charge stop in London in the new Macan electric. The Porsche Macan electric, charging facilities and effortless drive, was incredible to get the opportunity to first hand experience a real life incentive as to what our electric car customers experience on a daily basis.'
Sam Coghlan, our Sales Executive, has officially launched the Charged with Experience campaign at Porsche Centre Wilmslow. She said 'I enjoyed being in the position of driving the EV’s outside of work and understanding the charging experience from the perspective of a customer, especially doing longer journeys as we took the Taycan to Wales for my daughters birthday!'
Hattie, our Sales Executive at Porsche Centre Wilmslow, recently embarked on an exciting journey across the UK with the Macan E and Taycan.The Taycan showcased its performance at the iconic Oulton Park circuit, while the Macan E made its way through the vibrant streets of Bristol. Hattie said this about her Charged With Experience opportunity, 'I expected to find the Charging planning process difficult but the Porsche intergrated Charging planner in the PCM made this extremely accessible and a straight forward process that was assuring for someone who has never had an EV before.'
Through this programme, colleagues across the Centre are spending a full week living with both the Taycan and the new Macan Electric. From daily commutes to weekend journeys, they’re gaining valuable insights into every aspect of EV ownership—from charging at networks like BP Pulse, Fastned, and Osprey, to planning routes via the My Porsche App.
While technical knowledge is essential, there’s no substitute for real-world experience. Understanding range, charging infrastructure, and running costs in practical scenarios allows our team to support customers with authentic, informed guidance.
As more team members step into the driver’s seat, we’re seeing just how seamlessly Porsche electric vehicles integrate into everyday life—without compromising the performance, quality, or driving emotion that define our brand.
