To use Porsche Connect, you need a Porsche ID. When purchasing your Porsche, you will automatically receive an email containing your Porsche ID, as well as the link to register in the My Porsche portal. The connection must be made within 30 days of receipt of the Porsche ID, otherwise a new code must be generated. If you have not received any email, please contact us to receive a new one.
2. Activate the services
In the My Porsche portal, you can activate the various services or purchase them after expiration of your free usage period. You will find the 8-character pairing code required to use the services in your vehicle on the My Porsche home page. To activate the services in your Porsche, make sure it is connected to the internet. Either via a SIM card, or via a home Wi-Fi network (eg: in your garage). Follow the steps below to connect your vehicle to a home Wi-Fi network. In your vehicle's PCM (Porsche Communication Management), go to "Connection manager", and select the "Data" button. A pop-up window will offer you the various nearby networks available. Our team is at your disposal if you encounter any difficulties.
3. Using the services
Your Porsche ID then allows you to connect your vehicle to your smartphone. This will allow you to use various Porsche Connect services and functions directly from the PCM or access them via your smartphone. You can also use My Porsche and configure and manage the services from your computer, directly on the site.
