Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, collaborated with rising Kuwaiti fashion and accessory designers, Dana Al-Mutairi and Ghala Al-Hajri through their brand Rapture, to create a range of street fashion accessories for Macan customers, taking inspiration from Kuwait’s modern culture.
The initiative aims to inspire more young people to follow their inspirations and expand the Kuwaiti start-up scene for an innovative future. Supporting fine craftsmanship and the community has always been at the core of Porsche’s values, including backing young local brands that share its values.
The collaboration is represented in a two-month campaign titled “Your Sidekick. Everywhere.”, with a centre piece displayed at Porsche Centre Kuwait, featuring a specially branded Macan along with the product samples from Rapture.
Using recycled materials and vegan leathers, the theme of the accessories which include card holders and mirror hangers, all embroidered with the Porsche logo, is happiness, portrayed through the use of vibrant colours, similar to some of the options available to Macan customers via Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur Programme.
Since its launch in the Middle East, the Porsche Macan has been a success, mostly among the young and affluent demographic, which matches the profile of many of Rapture’s customers who appreciate bespoke levels of personalisation and customisation.
