The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia made its first appearance at the Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia, hosting Rounds 10–12 of the 2025 season. The weekend proved to be a milestone, with Dylan Pereira of Team Shanghai Yonda BWT securing both the overall and Endurance Cup championships. It was also a memorable outing for Sime Motors Racing’s Hugo Ellis, who delivered a standout performance with back-to-back podium finishes.
Ellis returned to the rostrum in Round 11, showcasing strong pace and consistency to secure third place — his first podium since Motegi. He followed this up with another impressive drive in the Endurance Cup finale, capitalising on late-race drama to take a second consecutive P3. The result marked a strong double podium for Sime Motors Racing and underlined Ellis’ progress through the season.
