Consistently transferring pure racing technology to the road.
Developed in close collaboration with Porsche Motorsport, a great deal of importance was attached to the transfer of technology from motorsport to the road during the development of this seventh generation of the Porsche 911 GT3. It is the first road-going 911 to be fitted with the double wishbone front axle layout, which further finetunes the geometry of the front wheels.
The result - A brilliant driving machine. Efficient and emotional, precise and high-performance. Perfect for the circuit and superb for everyday use.

Acoustically impressive and high-revving engine.
Based on the drivetrain of the 911 GT3 R, the new Porsche 911 GT3 features a four-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with over 500 hp that has been tried and tested in endurance racing. It is even faster than the previous 911 GT3 RS, accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 318 km/h with a PDK transmission.
A six-speed manual transmission option is also available, offering a top speed of 320 km/h and a particularly puristic driving experience.
More downforce, same drag.
All the GT3 trump cards are best laid out on the circuit. Improvements have been made to the chassis and aerodynamics to generate significantly more downforce, making it quicker at higher velocities without noticeably affecting the drag coefficient.
Form follows function – in its performance position, the manually set wing and diffuser elements increase aerodynamic pressure for high cornering speeds. The swan neck rear wing is reminiscent of its motorsport relations, with the underside of the wing clean of supports, creates beneficial, uninterrupted airflow under it and therefore increasing downforce without increasing drag.
The cockpit of the new 911 GT3.
Essential information when driving on the circuit is displayed on the left and right of the central rev counter at a touch of the button on the track screen, a new feature. A visual shift assistant with coloured bars as well as a shift light derived from Motorsport is also included in the display.
