Q1. What is a Porsche Travel Experience?
A1. The Porsche Travel Experience offers exclusive events around the world where you can experience the breathtaking performance of the Porsche provided at first hand. But that is just the beginning. You can expect an incomparable total package that includes luxurious accommodation in first-class hotels, culinary experiences in selected restaurants and an exclusive social programme to make your adventure a truly luxurious experience.
Q2. I am not a Porsche owner. Can I still take part in the events?
A2. Of course! All brand fans are invited to join our events.
Q3. What services does the Experience include?
A3. The price for participation in the Experience includes the following services:
- Provision of a Porsche vehicle in accordance with the event programme (incl. ancillary vehicle costs such as fuel, parking costs, necessary toll stickers/tolls).
- Vehicle insurance with deductible
- Transfers according to the event programme
- Overnight stays with breakfast
- Meals as per event programme (including pre-selected drinks)
- Driving programme
- Local taxes
- Other services according to the respective event programme
Q4. What services does the Experience exclude?
A4. Not included in the price are your flights, visa, travel insurance, room service, alcohol outside of pre-selected drinks, transport to/from airport of origin, as well as additional overnight stays before/after the experience. If you have any questions, the Porsche Experience Team will be happy to help.
Q5. Can I register an accompanying person for the event?
A5. Each vehicle is occupied by two fully paying participants, even if you wish to participate as an accompanying person, the full participation price will still be charged.
Q6. Are individual event dates bookable?
A6. No, only the dates mentioned on the booking page are available.
Q1. How can I register for an event?
A1. Registration is conveniently done online via our website, where you can find all available events. Once you have completed your registration a member of the team will be in contact via email to finalize your booking details.
Q2. By when should I register for an event?
A2. In view of the high demand each year, we recommend registering as soon as possible. The Experience is limited to 20 participants per group and is allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Q3. What are the requirements for participation in the Experience?
A3. To participate in the event, you must be at least 21 years old at the start of the event and present a valid international driving license on site. Further details on participation requirements can be found in our General Terms and Conditions.
In general, no special previous knowledge is required to take part in our Experience events.
Q4. Can I extend my stay?
A4. If you wish to extend your stay, you have the option to do so, subject to availability and at your own expense. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Q5. My desired date is fully booked. How can I proceed?
A5. If your desired date is already fully booked, please reach out to us directly via email to be placed on the corresponding waiting list. If places become available in the future, the Team will notify you. However, it’s important to note that entry on the waiting list does not constitute a booking or a binding reservation. Participation is subject to availability, and there is no guaranteed right to a place.
Q6. When will I receive the final event documents on the program schedule?
A6. After you have made your booking, we will provide you with a preliminary program schedule. The complete event documents will usually be sent to you about four weeks before the start of the event.
Q7. How and when do I have to pay the participation fee?
A7. When completing your booking the participation fee is required. You should have your credit card ready when booking. We accept the following credit cards:

Q8. How do I communicate dietary preferences and other information?
A8. You have the option to specify your preferences during the booking process. After a successful booking, you can update your preferences by reaching out to our team via email. We kindly request that you inform us of your dietary habits or intolerances well in advance.
Q9. What happens if I need to cancel?
A9: We understand that plans can change, and cancellations may happen. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for the full details of our cancellation policy.
Q10. What are the check-in procedures for hotels in the UAE?
A10: Passport or valid ID is required. Arabic hospitality and regulatory bodies mandate that hotels collect identification from all guests—this includes tourists and UAE/GCC residents alike. Acceptable forms typically include your original passport, UAE Emirates ID, or another recognized ID. A copy is usually made strictly for their internal records but they will not keep your physical passport.
A payment guarantee is expected. Most hotels ask for a credit card at check-in to cover incidentals or potential extras.
Q1. What formalities have to be completed before the start of the event?
A1. A copy of your passport and flight information is required two weeks before the event’s start in order for us to complete accommodation formalities and arrange transfers.
About one week before the event’s start, our Team will email you with documents for a digital check-in. This process will save you time upon arrival. During check-in, you will be required to sign the following documents:
- Disclaimer (mandatory)
- Vehicle Rental Agreement for all registered drivers (mandatory)
- Data usage form (voluntary)
- Picture and Video Permission (voluntary)
If you are unable to complete check-in in advance, you will have the opportunity to do so on-site upon arrival. Additionally, a check of your driver’s license will be conducted before the start of the driving programme.
Q2. Do I need a visa?
A2. Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality. It is your responsibility to obtain and carry the necessary official travel documents, receive any required vaccinations, and adhere to applicable customs and foreign exchange regulations. Our team can provide a visa invitation letter to support with your application, please reach out to us via email with such requests.
Q3. What clothes should I pack?
A3. Your choice of attire should depend on the event’s destination. In general, comfortable clothing is recommended during the day. Closed-toe, sporty footwear is required for driving the vehicles, and heeled shoes or loose footwear like flip-flops are not allowed when using Porsche vehicles. We request smart casual attire for dinners (no shorts, flipflops or sandals). Further clothing instructions can be found in the event documents, which you’ll receive four weeks before the event starts.
Q4. Are there any local rules or cultural norms to be aware of when traveling to the UAE?
A4. Overall, the UAE is modern and relaxed but please considerate of local customs and laws:
- Public behavior: Public displays of affection (such as kissing or hugging) should be kept discreet. Offensive language or gestures are not tolerated.
- Alcohol: Alcohol is available in licensed hotels, bars, and restaurants. It is not permitted to drink in public spaces, and driving under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited (zero tolerance).
- Drugs: The UAE enforces a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, including very small quantities. Carrying or consuming illegal substances can result in severe penalties.
- Dress code: Swimwear is acceptable at pools, beaches, and resorts. In more conservative areas, such as Sharjah and some parts of Ajman, modest clothing is advised, and swimwear should be avoided outside designated areas.
Q1. How are the groups and vehicles divided?
A1. The division into groups and vehicles is determined by the group size of each format. As part of the program we will do our best to rotate participants between vehicles. Once the groups have been assigned and the driving experience has started, it is not possible to accommodate any changes. If you would like to be paired in a vehicle or group with a specific individual, please reach out to our Team via email.
Q2. What does a driving day look like?
A2. The first day (arrival) begins for all participants with a compulsory theoretical introduction. During the driving days, participants will drive in groups/ convoys. Each convoy is made up of a maximum of 5 vehicles, each consisting of 2 participants and an instructor vehicle. The instructors know the best routes, including scenic roads and motorway stages, to guide you safely to your destination. The kilometres covered vary depending on the event. Breaks for lunch and coffee are scheduled throughout the day. Arrival at the hotel is normally scheduled by 17:00 latest. Depending on the event programme, you will be taken to selected restaurants in the evening to have dinner together.
Q3. What insurance coverage is available for the vehicles?
A3. There is no fully comprehensive insurance for Porsche-branded vehicles as part of a Porsche Travel Experience event. The amount deductible is EUR 3,000 - per damage and is stated in the respective rental agreement.
Q4. Can I participate using my own vehicle?
A4. It is not permitted to participate in the event with your own vehicle.
Q5. Can I choose a vehicle?
A5. Specific vehicle models are provided for these events. You can find detailed information on the vehicle models used in the event description on our website. Please understand that due to limited vehicle availability, special vehicle requests can only be accommodated to a limited extent.
Q6. Do I share a vehicle with another participant?
A6. The regular participation fee includes sharing a vehicle with another participating person. During the driving programme, both participants take turns driving the vehicle. If you would like to be partnered with a specific participant, please reach out to our team via email.
Q7. Can I rent a Porsche vehicle without participating in the event?
A7. It is not possible to rent vehicles outside of the scheduled events.
Q8. What happens if I cause an offence during the event?
A8. Participants are responsible for administrative offences such as parking tickets and must pay them themselves. If you commit a misdemeanor during the event, you will be notified of this after the event and asked to pay the corresponding costs.
Q9. Which road traffic regulations apply?
A9. The road traffic regulations of the respective country of destination apply.

Q2. Is it allowed to take photos and videos?
A2. Photography and video recording are allowed throughout the event. However, the use of drones is strictly prohibited. Increased safety regulations apply during the driving programme, so photo and video recordings are only permitted in consultation the Team on site.
Q3. Can I bring my pet with me?
A3. Pets are not allowed
