Construction began in August on our new Generation 5 Porsche Center, designed to meet the high demand for ordered Porsche vehicles and doubling the size of our service facility. The Grand Opening is planned for the second quarter of 2026.
An official groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility was held on Saturday, December 14th. It brought together the co-owners of Porsche Salt Lake City, football great John Elway and Aaron Wallace, fourth-generation Schomp family “car guy, ” and key executives from both the Elway Group and Schomp Automotive, including Michael Maledon, Mitch Pierce, and General Manager Gavin Pierce. The Millcreek City Council and representatives of United Contractors and Porsche Cars North America attended. One uninvited guest was a moose, who moseyed into the ceremony.
