It was a disappointing race two for Porsche Centre Oakville driver Daniel Morad, but teammate Michal de Quesada managed his first podium finish of the season. The race started as expected with both Morad and Scott Hargrove battling for position leading into turn one. After Morad’s bold move on the outside of the first corner in Saturday’s race, leading him and the team to victory, Hargrove did not want to lose touch again on the opening lap. Hargrove took the lead in turn one with Morad close behind.

Daniel Morad continues his steady and podium-worthy learning curve in Porsche GT3 racing. Following this morning’s qualification session, Scott Hargrove will start the race first, Chris Green second and Daniel Morad third out of a field of 15 cars.
First Toronto race cut short for Morad
Starting third and jumping in second position by the end of the first lap, Daniel Morad’s race ended up being clipped short. Morad held onto this second position for the first ten laps; he was then passed by series leader Chris Green.
